ETA: I was two weeks shy of turning 26 when I had my first and I was 35 when I had my second. My grandmother was 26 when she had my mother (and 28 when she had my uncle).

My mom had me when she was 39 and 41 years ago that was old to have a baby(my how things have changed) but anyway...kids were so mean to me about it I remember one time my mom came to pick me up from school because I was sick and a couple kids said "Oh your grandma is here to pick you up" Well as soon as I got in the car I starting crying and crying it was awful!!! My mom and I are very, very close but it did bother me for a long time, as a kid I always thought she was going to die soon~ shes 80 years old and still going strong!! But that made me want to have my kids young so I had my 1st dd when I was 24 and my 2nd dd when I was 27.

I was born in 1967 my mom was 40. She was not allowed to eat pork while she was pregnant her doctor told her that I would have birth defects! The whole family came in when I was born they were just sure something would be wrong with me because of my moms age. I was embarassed when she came to school when I was little... everybody thought she was my grandmother.
