i would say 29 or 30,but wait what if you were a super genius, and skipped a whole bunch of grades and grad early then maybe you might be very young or bill gates. the possibles are endless.
This happened to my DD's as well. They are just shy of a year apart, and the cut-off (Sept. 1) falls in between their birthdays. Hannah is the oldest in her class, Emily is the youngest.
DD is the oldest person in her "house" at college, so is pretty much the leader. In HS, she had a group of friends who all had Sept/Oct birthdays, so she didn't feel so strange; they were all good students. It WAS strange when she went to college in the Northeast; every BF has been younger than she so far.
The other girl is my niece who I haven't seen in a few years. She does well in school, so I don't think it was a problem in her case. The fact that she's the oldest and a girl (as is DD) might also help as far as maturity goes.
This makes me feel old! I graduated in 89 and just turned 34 two weeks ago. Maybe it's time to start lying about my age. Let's see..... I'll be 20 again. I wonder if anyone will buy it?
