How often/when do you get the trip preparation booklet with the window stickers?

Its hit or miss for us. We get them for each reservation or sometimes we never get one. My wife uses the pics from the booklet and the sticker for her scrap booking.

We have received 4 this year. Only one stay. They go right in the trash.

Coincidentally, I received one this week for my 10 night at Jambo coming up in January. I did not receive one for my 4 night stay the Poly Tower, which will be my split stay.
I asked a friend of mine for whom I booked a 5-night stay at Jambo House this past October. He did not receive the booklet.
So I was thinking maybe it depends on the length of the stay.
The booklet is kind of, for lack of a better word, redundant as I've stayed at AKL 10 times in the past 15 years, while the book is obviously for first timers.
And as others as noted, getting the booklet seems to be hit or miss.

I wonder why it’s so hit or miss. We get one every trip, but my guests who I book a separate room for don’t get it. We only use points to book and usually book a week or longer. It always comes after I already made dining reservations etc. So giving those dates is kind of silly. My husband gets AP stuff in the mail, and I don’t get it even though we both have the AP.
