How often does SW offer 50,000 point promo?

After reading past threads I think I would like to sign up for the SW credit card. Of course the most recent offer of 50,000 points JUST expired in early August. Does anyone know often this offer comes around?

Also, is there any way to sign up to be notified for these kind of promotions, ie email or mail? I swear I have received similar offers in the past but it seemed so random- and of course I threw out the mail because I wasn't interested at the time. Thanks for any input.

From what I've read, it comes around every 3-4 months. I'm hoping it will be out in November so hubby can get another 50,000 points for his companion pass.

I racked 105,000 points so far from my personal and business and am working on the companion pass. I've already spent 20,000 of those points for Amazon gift cards and plan to fly free to New York and Disney.

I was notified by e-mail about the 50k point promo. I was a SW Rapid Rewards member, I think that's why I received the notification.

well, it has been posted ALL over just about every forum online for months,when ti will end...so there should be plenty of notice for the next bout
