How often do you have luck w/waitlist?

Hi!

We need just one night at Vero Beach (Sunday, April 5) and just put on the waitlist last week. I know it's only 3 weeks away...what do you think the chances are? We are going on a cruise that comes back on the 5th...not flying home till late afternoon on the 6th. Thought this was the perfect place to chill for 1 night. My only problem is I thought of this only last week!

We met a family last year at VB for Easter that booked at 7 months with SSR point. They got Fri-Sat right when they called and did the ol' day by day for the balance of the week. The last night didn't come in until about a week before their trip. What type of room are you looking for, I think they were a 1br.

Call everyday to inquire about your wait list...I have read that they assign waitlists at the end of each day. So if you call, you will be assigned the availibility before they get to the list at the end of the day. This is what I read....would be worth a try!! Good luck!
