Is this parade new and different, or is it a rehash of the prior parade or the one currently at Magic Kingdom in WDW? I love parade's, but the friends I'm going with aren't as thrilled. If this parade is pretty much the same as others I've made them sit through they won't be too pleased.

The Parade of Dreams debut was on May 5, 2005 I think for the beginning of the 50th celebration. This is a very impressive parade to me. The floats play their own theme song until they stop at some point, then they all play the Family Time song from Brother Bear....the celebration's theme song sort of. Each of the floats have something that occurs for its stop. The most impressive is Alice's as the table is a trampoline and acrobats (cards) perform. The Pinocchio float has puppets on bungee cords. The tower raises and they do more acrobats also. The Mermaid and Lion King floats have water falls. I think it is very impressive. I like parades and have tried to see it at different locations to be able to see a different float stop to see what thsoe characters do. The WDW Magic Kingdom's Share a Dream Come True Parade is a few years old. It's debut was for Walt's 100th birthday and is represented by Snow Globe floats. They are very different yet you will see some of the same characters.

It is a great parade. You'll enjoy it. Be sure to catch Block Party Bash in DCA as well.
