This may seem like a daft question but I am trying to guage how much money I will need whilst in Florida.
We are a family of four ( two adults two kids 12&9)
We arrive on the 23rd July ( late ) and return 12th August (early)
The first 5 days are to be at Universal , with the balance at disney
We are staying in a villa in Davenport so plan to eat probably 80% off site and a few meals at the parks. Hopefully we can take some snacks/packed lunches/water into the parks for during the day.
All the tickets are paid for and we have a car.
I dont plan on doing much cooking so will just need groceries for the villa.
Just trying to work out how much we will need to cover us for the three weeks really as we are first timers.
Many thanks

Hi there, we'll be there the same time ..... In on the 24th home on the 13th :)

Always budget around £100 a day for the 4 of us (don't do on-site unless we really have to as much more expensive) that said always come home with a hefty credit card bill from all the shopping :scared1:.

If you're staying around Davenport there's lots of reasonably priced restaurants on the 27 such as Applebees ...... And just past the turning for the 192 is chillis ..... Great food and terrific offers to stretch the budget.

Hope this helps

Thanks Sharon thats a good guide. I dont mind eating at disney a few times but it looks quite expensive so will be quite happy with eating around davenport etc - will give chillis a try :)
Forgot to add - my wife wants an ipad but that will deffo be on the cc!!
We are flying MAN to PHL and then onto Orlando - saved £1200 by doing this which paid for the park tickets :)
thanks again :)

As I have budgeted about £2,000 for a 21 day holiday. We are off site and travelling from Miami by car to key west then the everglades then up to Orlando for 14 days park mayhem! :)

So it's good to know I'm not too way off the mark with our budget

We're going via NYC so don't actually arrive in Orlando until the 27th but are staying in a villa off the 192 just behind Lake Davenport so will probably frequent the same restaurants :)

were a family of 4 and have always budgeted £100 per day for food and drink and have never gone over in the many years been going

I'm budgeting £1500 for two adults. For food, drink and shopping for 14 nights (though I *may* let myself put particularlyshiny things on the credit card :thumbsup2). We're buying our park tickets before we go.

I'm not sure if this is realistic yet but I hope so!!
