How much was your least expensive trip to Disney?

Our cheapest trip was December 2009. We had "free" points that were given to us when we signed up for DVC so we used those for a 14 night split stay @ VWL & BC. We had free park passes that I had collected from being a Cast Member and airfare for 4 of which we had 2 free flights. So for airfare, food & souvies, we paid at the very most $2000 for 14 nights, including MVMCP :thumbsup2

$2800---it was last year for our spring break trip. DH stayed home so it was myself, dd10 (disney adult), and ds 6. We did 9 days, 8 nights at CSR--had free dining and used points to fly so no cost for either one of those. The 2800 was strictly room and tickets. Sigh. This year we're already at the same amt but no dining plan add on as of yet (doubt free dining will fall into our dates this year) and I'm out of points so I'll be paying for those--tho not 100% on the ddp yet. The airfare is what really irks me but my dates aren't out for our next trip yet so I"m not thinking about it.

I would only count true offers or discounts from Disney or a package from Disney as a true gage of a cheap trip. I would not concider any leftover tickets or anything that was paid for previously. So, I would not really this one, but.......

1989 (Honeymoon): Carribean Beach (brand new) was $79/night- that was a value resort at the time. Park passes were free- Time share seminars. We stayed 4 nights.

Now-a-days:
I have 5 in my family and this year (because of one of those kids groups- High school band) Half are staying at ASMu ( Wife, DD#1 and me - $2600 suite)- Son and DD#2 are staying off site w/band group(@$1000 each - 24hr bus ride each way-includes theme park tickets). Thanks to all the points I have racked up with SWA- I could afford to get some "free" airfare- also not like the old days ( 50,000 points would have gotten me 3 flights instead of 1).

$1500 for our FD package at POFQ in 2010. Five nights, regular tickets (no hoppers). Regular dining. Four people, one was not yet three so didn't need a ticket.

Of course, my absolute cheapest was $500 for six nights at Contemporary and that included my airfare. I was staying with a friends family, though, and only had to pay my ticket and flight.

2010 we stayed 8 days 7 nights @ AS Sports. booked for 1236.00 got a 300 gift card back from Disney and flights were 39.00 each way each person (3 people) and we had a 75.00 voucher and 50 voucher. Now meals and souvies... different story.. went down with 4500 and came back with 1700.00:rotfl2: And our DS who was 7 at the time said.. what we are going back with money?????

The year I was divorced I was very very broke but couldn't skip Disney that year. We stayed at Wilson World for 2 nights and bought 1 ticket. We brought our own food and spent a total of 250$

I'm going in september, with my wife, to POFQ. I'll stay for 14 nights, standard room, park hopper tickets, and free dining plan. $3390 just this package. We are flying with mileages.

Last year we went All Star Sports. We got a package from Brazil, with airfare and staying for the same price of the airfare. The hotel was "free". We also took free quick service dining plan. Maybe that was our best deal.

I think our first trip back in 1999 we payed around $1.500 for the entire trip- for 2 adults/1 infant
We drove from Illinois, stayed offsite, I received a free ticket to Disney because I was a Travel Agent

Now I have a family of 5, 4 Disney adults-1 child
We still will drive from Illinois
I don't know how we would spend anything less than $3,500 for onsite

We have done everything from onsite to offsite to DVC
We usually go every year, this year because of my dh's job loss we will not go

We are hoping to be back to the WORLD next year! We might stay offsite again in a condo just to save money. POR would be too small for us and AOA is too expensive.

When you come all the way from western Canada there is no such thing as a cheap trip to WDW. Flights aren't cheap and there's no way we are coming all that way to stay any less than 10 nights. Our cheapest was a 10 night stay at CBR in Dec. 2008, total money spent was just over $7,000. Normal range for us is $8k-$11K.

I have no idea how you folks remember how much your trips cost from one to the next..all I know is every one was worth every penny... :thumbsup2

I do remember last year DW and I went to POP and stayed a week with bumped up FD. And the package cost us $1600..with hoppers..plane tix were about $500 total..so..$2100 plus spending. That I blocked out..too painful.:lmao:

2003 - Christmas week (arrive December 24 and departed December 30) at the GF. 3 adults and one 8 year with park hopper tickets.
$2400 for room and tickets; $220 pp for airfare. I don't remember how much food cost me.

Same here.. I'm impressed! :)

This coming trip is probably going to be the most inexpensive trip. Our stay at POP will be about $490 for 5 nights. I may even cut it down to 4 nights. $300 for rental car. $300 for rt trip gas. I budgeted the food about $120 per day for 4 people. Tickets would be about $920, we are not doing parks everyday. $200 for the hotel on the way there and back. Souvenir would be about $200-300. We've been to Disney many times, the souvenir that we will acquire from this trip is our new bought refillable mugs, pictures, and wonderful memories. I will probably get a few magnets and pins. I'm not sure what the children is going to get. But I will probably just give them each a $50 or $100 Disney gift card to use at the gift shop.

Bumpity-bump! Thanks for everyone's response! :) Anyone else?.. :)

hehehe... ours is this year. We are driving down, so probably $150 in gas round trip. We are staying at the DoubleTree in DTD for 3 nights for free on Hilton Honors points. Two days in the parks, this is the expensive part, $525. Plus food (free breakfast at the hotel, and we might bring a sandwich in for lunch) and souvenirs... So all for probably under $900, unless we find something we just HAVE to have.

October 2005 - $1781. I will never forget that price! This included RT Air from Nebraska, 6D/5N at POP, preferred room, regular dining plan when it included apps and tip, PH tickets and tickets to Halloween party. Oh, the good old days.........:wizard:

With flights, hotel, tickets, foods and souvenirs it becomes between $5000 and $6000 if we stay the cheapest way. We are two adults staying 2 1/2 weeks. This is onsite.

Last year we stayed offsite for 9 days and used about $4000 including flights.

I know right? I remember all the chatter on the Dis about what a great deal it was, and back then it REALLY was a great deal!! Guess Disney figured out it was "too good" :goodvibes

I wish Disney can sprinkle all of us with some ~*Pixie Dust*~ like how they used to.. Sigh.. :sad1:

I honestly don't remember correct totals. But the year we stayed at WL pre kids we got to stay at the WL for under 100.00 a night. I want to say it was 2004 I got a postcard with a pin. We paid OP for our food ate mostly CS for the 8 days we were there. This was before kids so even though it was probably the cheapest kind of hard to compare.

The other thing is now we like to add the WP&F option that is almost a 250.00 option to add to our tickets but we use it. Last year I did manage to get air for a 4 of us for under 650.00 threw SW. This year we paid 1076.00.

This years trip was right under 2500.00 for everything except air for 11 days. Next year we will do 14 nights.
