There are several threads on TV shows here, just curious how much time people spend with TV.

I have 3 shows I watch regularly, ER, House, and Desperate Housewives. Occassionally the 11 o'clock news, but usually I am on the computer at the same time. Every once in a while I will watch something else. I used to watch What Not To Wear religiously, but got bored with it.

I will occasionally watch a DVD if I walk on my treadmill or I will sit with my kids if they are watching a DVD...but most times I am folding clothes or on the computer at the same time. We don't even have cable  ....there's no point for us :confused3 I used to love watching TV..not so much now.

The TV is on here almost all the time that someone is home and awake :confused3
I don't always watch it, but it is on. DH watches more than I do.
I have favorites I watch though.
LOST, Desperate Housewives, some of the sitcoms I really like for mindless watching :rotfl2:
I like Apprentice too.
Oprah is a daytime show I really like if I am home to watch it.

I usually compute at the same time ;)

When the kids aren't out of school I leave the tv on Foxnews all day and all night basically. I don't really watch but it is there if some news thing happens. I don't really like the shows on TV. Oprah??? NO thanks, Dr Phil, gotta be kidding. CSI too gory. I like apprentice and american Idol.
I MUCH MUCH MUCH prefer the internet. I couldnt make it without the internet.

I don't watch too much daytime TV but at night I will. DH works late most nights and I'm bored and I like the noise once the kids go to bed. So, I'll watch TV in my bed until I fall asleep - I prefer mindless, silly shows that I don't really have to think too hard about, reality shows or fluffy sitcoms. The only shows I watch religiously are Curb Your Enthusiasm and the Amazing Race.

I watch Medium, WWE Wrestling, Law and Order, CSI, NCSI, Crimal Minds, and Ghost Wishpers. All while on the computer. If it's basketball season i am looking basketball to while on the computer to.

OMG....I watch too much tv. I am 49....(meaning no little ones that I have around begging for my attention)
I love..............
Mon: King of Queens!!!---Prison Break!!!----Medium
Tues NCIS------House (try to tape for weekend: Supernatural)
Wed. Still Standing----Yes Dear-----E-Ring----LOST!!!(tape Veronica Mars)
Thurs CIS....
Fri Ghost Whisperer-----

There you go.........love my tv.
Hey, I work a full day.....commute via bus....I like to relax.....
:goodvibes :cool1: :cool1:

Too much, especially on Thurs nights......
Survivor
E.R.
Apprentice
CSI
Four of my favs. Also like Amazing Race.

I don't watch anything regularly. Used to be addicted to ER, but haven't seen it since sometime last season. Just not the same anymore.

Other than that, I catch the news some, and bits of Everybody Loves Raymond reruns when DH is watching.

I also probably watch too much tv.
I usually put on Sesame Street, Jack's Big Music Show and Dora or Diego for DD#1.
I turn on The View and my soaps (Y&R and B&B)during the week and mute it unless there's something I really want to see. I am also guilty of watching Maury for paternity results. 99.9% of the time these shows are on the computer tv which is in a gated room that DD's can't get to...I peek in periodically to see if it's interesting.
I only really watch Prison break (I've missed the last 2 weeks, though!!!), Lost, Invasion, the Simpsons, Family Guy and American Dad and Night Stalker (I'm assuming they cancelled that, though, b/c it's no longer on the ABC site...) I try to watch the news but it's always a downer....

Oh, I also catch myself watching 'around the horn' on espn b/c I love Woody Paige...how sad that I find myself watching sports shows when I usually loathe watching sports. Dh finds it funny, though, that I'll watch with him.

I watch Lost on Wed. night and sometimes the 10:00 News. That's all :flower:

None. DH watches the Browns lose every Sunday, but other than that, we don't watch TV unless it's something special, like a Hallmark movie, then the family locks me in the living room with a box of kleenex and plays games w/out me!

We rent Monk and the 4400 on DVD so we can watch (and re-watch) what we like, but those are the only ones. We only watch Monk, so DH can see what it's like for me to live with him  and he's into the 4400. Give me Princess Diaries any day!

Before we got a DVR, I only watched about three hours of tv a week. But now that I have become addicted to the DVR, I watch much more. I record and watch Boston Legal, ER, Survivor, Lost, The Apprentice, and sometimes Amazing Race.

The DVR just makes it easier to watch tv late at night after the kiddos have gone to bed.

I watch a few hours of TV a night and I love my DVR. I usually watch my shows and surf at the same time.

I have a cousin who doesn't watch TV and always criticizes me about my viewing habits. Yet, she spends all day on the net (mostly message boards)and she thinks there's a difference. :confused3 :rotfl:

My week consist of

tuesday amazing race and close to home (sometimes it is on, on friday)
thursday Survivor and CSI
Friday if i can remember i watch ghost whisper
csi miami and csi ny if i catch them on.
and when i am awake i watch sex in the city after the news

Alot of time while i am at the computer i will have the tv on CMT or GAC just for the music!

I watch lots of TV but nothing on the major networks. I watch the food network and Court TV.
