How much to upgrade to Club?

Hi all,

We have 4 nights booked at HRH this August. Is it possible to upgrade to Club Level at check in? We booked on a Stay for 4, play for free deal if that makes any difference?


Not sure if we want to do this yet, I just wanted to see if it was possible.

I wouldnt wait untill check-in to ask for Club level. If you really want club.......then it should be reserved. Slim to nil chance of getting upgraded to club unless you are Loews Platinum.......and then, only if its available. You will most likely, not even be able to upgrade and PAY for it in august.....as it will prob. be very busy and all booked up.
The average upgrade cost between standard room and club.....is roughly $80.-$100. dollars per night. Check under rates and availability at the HRH site. http://www.loewshotels.com/hotels/orlando_hard_rock/default.asp#
Just punch in your dates and see whats avail. and for how much more $$$.
Some say club is worth it, some say its not. I like it for a lot of different reasons and it works for our family........easy, quick breakfast, soft drinks and water all day,light dinner offerings at night with beer and wine!, and some good snacks before bed. The Club level staff has a LOT of pull when it comes to making last minute impossible reservations at Universal restaurants "possible"!

we up graded from normal to club for four nights on the stay and play package and it cost us an extra 110 dollars for four nights, which would cover bfast costs...

hrh we are arriving the 18th august, they said it is the start of their lower priced season due to us kids going back into school, hope that helps

I am thinking/guessing that it was maybe $110. extra per night. That would sound about right. If it was $110. for the entire 4 nights........well thats an awesome deal!!! It cant be $110. for 4 nights upgrade to club.......right??? Thats only $27.50 per night extra for club level !!! You may want to double check your reservations with Lowes to be sure.
If you scored that deal........great job! Let us know your secret!

we paid 110 extra dollars for the four night stay, with the stay and play deal
i have no secret i just phoned to ensure we had a "clean"room, my ds 6 has asthma and i have read several horror stories on here , when i asked the charge to upgrade it went from 1500 dollars to 1610 dollars for four nights.
so as this will easily cover the cost of breakfast and dh now gets free beer , i thought it might be worth it.

i just rang the number of reservations that comes on your conf sheet
4072247000, i also rang the hotel direct last night to reserve my cabane and got it for 63 dollars, 1/2 price!!!!

Ahhh that might be why as we are only paying $916 for the four nights.

Last Aug. we had a view of the roof and some kind of machine!When I made reservations this time(also checking in aug.22-29) I specifically requested...no roof view and no adjoining room(always is noisier).Don't remember room #,but was last room by the stairwell.
