Hello. I will be using FL Tours in July to pick us up at MCO and take us to the Renaissance at Sea World. The fare is $60. How much should I tip the driver ? :confused3

Thank you !

20% seems to be the norm. So about $12. It is truly up to you though, if you get extra attention and service you may wish to up it a bit, but your call.

Tipping is up to the rider. You get bad service don't tip or tip very little. You get excellent service tip anywhere between 10 and 20 percent. Don't reward a bad driver.

Jumping on the tip bandwagon here with a question: How do you tip if you have a three-way destination? We'll be using the same car service from MCO to Disney, Disney to Universal, Universal to MCO. Do I tip after getting dropped off at each location? Would I tip 10-20% of the total fare at each destination? TIA!:)

I would tip at each portion of the trip, unless you know for certain you will have the same driver each time. I would try to base your tip on each portion of the trip.

For example, we don't have a 3-way trip, but we are doing MCO to WDW and then WDW back to MCO. The total cost of the limo is $200, so we will tip based on $100 each way, or likely somewhere around $20 each leg of the trip.

The FL tours website quote I've received for a 3 way trip for 6 adults in a limo says that the tips will be included in the price and everything to be paid at the 1st of 3 trips---MCO to port for cruise---then port to disney resort---finally disney resort to MCO.

I feel uncomfortable not tipping each driver myself---how am I sure they get their part?

Has anyone paid like this and had the tip included? Any problems?

TIA

You are not sure if the driver gets anything. The drivers are hourly workers, probably minimum wage, and the company is trying to stay in competition and make some extra money. I wouldn't worry about it in the least. All limos add a high percentage gratuity to the total of the passenger's bill.

Thank you all for your comments !;)

I will budget the 20%...hoping that we get a good service. I have read good comments from FL Tours so I imagine the service will be good.!
