How much to tip valet and bellhop at local casino

So, I'm staying at a local casino this weekend in the swank part, where there is complimentary Valet service.

How much do I tip the valet? Do I tip him on arrival, or only upon departure?

How much do I tip the bellhop handling our bags? I plan to tip him on arrival, but if we get our bags down to the lobby ourselves on departure, do I still tip him?

I'm ashamed I do not know this.

I'd do the following:
Valet tip on departure $5
Bellhop on arrival $5

I have always tipped the valet on arrival and departure, usually just $3 to $4, and this wasn't always complimentary valet, either.

Blee Services, I tip about $1 to $2 per bag. If you are bringing your own bags down at departure, there wouldn't be anyone to tip.

I'm a HR Manager at a casino. You want to tip valet on arrival and departure because it will be 2 different people, especially if they don't pool their tips. A few dollars is the norm. Some guests will tip $10-$20 and request their car be parked close so their car is retrieved quickly.

As others have said, $1-2 per bag is the norm for a Bell Attendant.
