How much to tip for Carriage Ride?

I am planning on surprising my family with a Carriage Ride after we go to the HDDR. I know that it costs $30 for the ride but I was just wondering how much to tip? Thanks!

That's a good question. I'm only guessing here but maybe 20%.
Also depending on the driver and the ride. ???

Are these carriage rides in MK? 30.00 isn't bad, how long is the ride? As for the tip, I would think 15% would be fine.

They have the carriage rides at POFQ, and Fort Wilderness. I don't really know anything about the one at POFQ, because we've never stayed there. We're taking the one at FW, and I'm very excited about surprising my DH with this. I called and was told I was more than welcome to bring champagne & chocolates.




Forget to add, that I'm planning on tipping $10. We're taking the ride the week after Christmas, to see the sites decorated for the holidays. I also planned our ride, in conjunction with Wishes. We have the latest time available. If the driver is kind enough to stop to allow us to enjoy the fireworks, I think he will deserve the big tip. If he's not so accomodating, and rushes us through, this figure will undoubtedly come down.

Is the carriage ride at WL hard to book if you wait until you get there? We have never done a carriage ride and not sure if we should book early. Also, who do you call to reserve a time?

A relaxing and intimate 30-minute carriage ride (cost, $30 with tax included) through Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground. Small carriage holds 2 adults and 1 small child. Larger carriage holds 4 adults or 2 adults and 3 small children.
