I keep playing around with the numbers and can't decide what to do.
There are 7 of us. Five are considered adults, two are kids.
I've been trying to decide between DDP or DxDDP. We went last year without a plan and my husband was very stingy about spending $$ on food. Everyone wants to eat at some nice restaurants.
The DxDPP would cost us $390.00/day. That seems like a lot of money, but if we ate a buffet every morning and a TS for dinner it seems as if it would cost at least that. Not that we need a buffet every day...
The DDP is around $212.00/day. This seems more reasonable. There are 4 breakfast buffets and 4 TS dinners that we want to do. So we could pay OOP for 1 meal.
I would appreciate advice from others who have traveled with kids as to how much it really costs. I know I can look at the menus but that's not the same as actually being there.
