Anyone know about how much it would cost to add a day to a 5 day park hopper at the ticket office? It's $19.00 if I do it now before I actually purchase them. Thanks!

It costs the difference between whatever you actually pay for the 5 day ticket and the gate price for a 6 day ticket. Gate prices for 6-day tickets are:
$271 adult, $251 child age 3-9 for parkhoppers or
$256 adult, $236 child age 3-9 for non-parkhoppers

There is a $20 per ticket price difference between buying a 6-day hopper at the gate or pre-purchasing online. You are better off pre-purchasing.

I have read on the boards that some people have successfully upgraded their tickets onsite at the WDTC office in DtD and secured the pre-purchase price, but I have never tried this and probably wouldn't want to deal with the hassle. I would just buy the maximum number of days I could use from the beginning. I guess that can be tricky though if you don't have your flights and hotel bookings firmed up.

Just want to echo, that if you wait you lose your pre-purchase discount and pay the difference between what you paid and what the gate price of the pass is.

So you paid $246 for the 5 day hoppers? You can upgrade to the 6 day hopper by paying the difference. You might also consider to upgrade the 5 day hopper to an annual pass, $269 for SoCal residents ($23 difference).

Of course the OP isn't from SoCal so is not able to get a SoCal resident AP.

So like suggested it would be better in thier case to just prepurchase the 6 day.
