How much time to enter MK for MVMCP

We're looking to go to MK the Sunday of Thanksgiving weekend and have tickets to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. We were thinking of taking a break after the parade and then coming back to the park around 5:30/6pm. How much time should we allow for re-entering the park? Especially given that it's a special event and Thanksgiving weekend, I was worried the wait may be longer than usual.

You're going to need to keep an eye on what they're doing this year. They have changed regular park closing to 6:00 for ALL MVMCP parties. If nothing changes, you can start entering MK at 4 pm with a party ticket, so if you get there at 5:30/6:00, there won't be any lines to get in, and you'll sail right through.
