We have a late morning reservation for Minnie & Friends for two adults and a toddler. How much time should we budget for the meal and character M&G?

I would recommend at least an hour. There are lots of characters to meet (I think there were nine last time we went), and you don't want to zip through your meal.

We saw more characters because we stayed for an hour and a half - group of 8 - 6 adult breakfast lovers, 2 grazing kids. Plus we had to wait to go outside to see Minnie.
The table next to us ate and left in 45 min, but missed half the characters.
We skipped lunch these days.

Thank you all! I have a feeling seeing characters will be the highlight of my daughter's trip, so I definitely don't want to rush or feel like we are wasting time.

If have never done it before, consider that the characters seem to come in waves. If you arrive and there are no characters in your area, then get your food immediately and prepare. They seem to leave about ten minute gaps between the character visits to allow you time to get up and pick some food. Also, if for some reason you miss a character or you are being ignored, politely find one of the coordinators and inform them that you have missed characters in your area. Sometimes it gets busy and areas get missed but from my experience they are more than happy to make sure a character comes by. It might take a little while due to breaks. I have witnessed a few families who left in anger because they didn't see all the characters.

I agree a minimum of an hour. Also agree that you should fill up your plate as soon as you arrive. Then make sure someone is always at the table so you don't get skipped. Looks like you have a little one. DH and I always take turns with one of us staying at the table with the kids and the other getting food for ourselves or the kids.

We had the first reservation on a Saturday ( 7:10am ) just 2 adults and we still took about 45 minutes and that was by no means rushing.
We prefer the first seating because the character interaction feels so less rushed , got several return trips because we were one of only a handful of tables for about half an hour.

It was amazing.
