How much time to allow for water taxi from pier in Cabo back to the Wonder

We're on the Wonder next month to Cabo and Ensenada and this is our first trip to these locations. I know in Cabo you need to catch a transfer to get to the pier and then again back to the ship. If we were to plan an excursion, how much time should we allow for these transfers?

We were surprised at how efficient the transfers were. We were on the transfer and at the dock in 10 minutes tops. I can't obviously guarantee that it will go like that every time, but it did for us.

Tendering in Cabo is really easy. They’ll run to a certain time ashore. Returning to the ship was a piece of cake. We hopped aboard a waiting tender at the tender dock and left right away for the Wonder.

Just to be clear the transfers (tendering) are provided by DCL so you won't be scheduling those on your own. If you plan excursions through DCL they take care of it all for you. If you are going out on your own, there are plenty of tender boats available all day. Once the ship is cleared to debark the tenders can get a bit crowded sometimes. If you plan to be one on one of the first tenders for guests heading ashore on their own, on my last cruise they looked pretty empty. Not sure what they were like later in the day because I was off the ship. Coming back was easy. They load up a boat until it's pretty full, or it's time to leave for the next tender (they basically just run loops) to pull in. They are constantly going.

The actual boat ride between the pier and the Wonder is less than 10 minutes.

Ensenada will be easy. The Wonder parks right downtown and you just walk off at will.
