How much time have you spent for dinner at Citricos?

I was just there about 2 weeks ago on a Saturday evening. My ADR was for 5:55 and I was by myself. Once I checked in, I basically got seated immediately. The service was very well paced. I never felt rushed or that I needed to finish my meal quickly. I didn't keep track of how long I was there, but my guess is that I was there for at least an hour. I had plenty of time to look over the drink/wine list and just relax.

There was a couple, with a young daughter, who sat down after I did and left before I did. But I was not rushing through my meal at all.

My guess is that if people want to rush through dinner, then the server will pick up on those cue's. If I had been there with someone else or with a group of people, then we could definitely have been there for 90 minutes or longer. But we would have been having drinks and just spending time together and not rushing.

This was by far my most favorite meal and restaurant of my entire trip.

We always plan 2 hours for a Signature restaurant to allow for waiting to be seated and actually dining. Yes, it can be significantly shorter than that if you like. An hour isn't unheard of. We just like to pace our meal a bit so that it actually takes close to 90 minutes.

Don't rely on your waiter picking up on clues. Tell them what you expect, especially if you are tight on time.

We've eaten there twice; once was a bit later in the evening and we were definitely there 90 minutes. Two of us, apps, drinks, entrees, dessert. Not rushed at all. The second time our reservation was pretty soon after they opened and this time, with drinks, apps, and entrees but no dessert, we were done within an hour but again not rushed. There were quite a few less tables already seated at the beginning of our meal the 2nd time around. We've been at other signature restaurant meals a good 2 (sometimes 2+) hours so as OKW lover said, I'd plan to be there at least 2 but you could possibly take less.

We do apps, drinks, entree and dessert and 90 minutes to 2 hours is usually par for the course.

As OKW suggests, you can get out a lot faster if you cut down on what you are eating --or suggest to the servers right off the bat that you are in a hurry to be somewhere.

We have a 6pm reservation and want to get to DHS for the fireworks at 8pm. We have a car so will be driving to DHS. Based on the posts here, this should be doable. We'll probably show up a little early for our reservation.
