How much should I tip?

This seems to be a good place to get an answer.

Has anyone used PeaPod or other form of grocery delivery system? My first delivery is in the morning.

I have a delivery cost of $4.75 and in the FAQ section of PeaPod online it mentions that tips for the drivers are at my discretion.

How do I base a tip?

1) total price
2) # of bags
3) flat fee

I would tip $2, even though that's almost half of your bill, I think it's a fair amount for the person who is going to have to bring you your groceries.

The total bill is just 4.75 or that is the delivery charge? I never had groceries delivered but when I get pizza I tip between 3.00-4.00.
