Do you really think someone will pay for it?
We are in the process of renovating and moving into a much smaller home. Almost none of our furniture will fit the way the rooms are configured and I want to go with a different style so I have been looking for some used pieces to see if there's anything that works. It seems that most items posted on Facebook, Craigslist, and Nextdoor go very quickly.
I had never bought anything used before, but it is perfectly normal where I live. I have many friends who live in homes that are $500k+ who buy a lot of their furniture and accessories used at consignment shops. Anything someone in my neighborhood posts online is gone the same day.
Rebecca Realistic. I live in a 200+ unit complex, and we have been told by management not to bring home curbside furniture - specifically due to the (mere) possibility of bedbugs.
I think there's usually a difference between furniture that's been left outside at the curb to be thrown away and something that has been very lightly used from someone's clean home. If you weren't allowed to have anything that had ever been used due to potential bedbug contamination, then you wouldn't be able to move your own furniture from your previous apartment/house into your new one, right?
