I am close to being finished. I could actually be finshed in one day if I had the time. My brother and I are getting Mom a new microwave, getting niece and nephews GC's, and have to pick up a few small things for some friends. Need to come up with an idea for my Dad :confused3 . Turned our Angel Tree gifts in last week. We don't go 'all out' for family anymore for Christmas.

I am finished for DH and DD. Although DD wants me to take her to get something for DH from her.

What about everyone else?

I have most of my shopping left to do. I've only bought a few small gifts.

But I am off to the "big" mall tomorrow morning--bright and early--and hope to take a big chunk out of my list.

I still need something for DH; a gift card for my dad's birthday (which is the 26th). And a little something for teachers- that's for the reminder PP! :thumbsup2 I'm done with the kids. Oh, need a few more stocking items for DH and my parents. :goodvibes

Since the kids have had bronchitis, ear infections, and bad colds in the last few weeks, I haven't started yet :guilty:

Except for a couple of bags of treats for the dog, I'm done. Now I'm buying gifts for myself!

I have about 90% left to do! This is SO unlike me. I don't know what happened to me this year! :confused3 I just feel so UN-Christmassy! The tree is up, but not decorated.....the cookie dough is made but no cookies are baked......hardly any shopping done......cards bought but not in the mail yet. :rolleyes1

There is NO Christmas cheer at my house this year, and I'm not sure why. DD's even had to remind me that St. Nick forgot to come! :sad2: He came two days later at our house! I'm so pathetic......geesh. :sad2:

I'm done.

I try to start Christmas shopping around Sept./Oct. with a goal of having it done around Dec. 1 so that I can relax and enjoy the Christmas Season. I order a lot of stuff online so that I don't have to deal with the crowds at the malls.

I have about 12 more Christmas cards to get ready and send in the mail and around 10-15 presents still to wrap.

I should have plent of time to concentrate on my holiday baking and cleaning/cooking for Christmas Eve dinner.

:cheer2:

Other then gifts I am picking up in Europe, I am all done and all wrapped and ready to go. We have a cabin in the mountains we rented for christmas so I had to get it all done before I left for Europe.

I've brought 1 gift. I still have hubby, 3 kids, inlaws, neices & nephews. So then I guess that means I haven't done any.

I just have to buy for my mom and DH and I am done! Just wrapping left to do!

I haven't gotten one thing yet!! And worse still I have no ideas, and frankly no desire to think about it. Sad? I guess so.

But, for DD, there isn't anything that she 'wants' or 'needs' and during the year whatever it is that she 'needs' she gets, and what she 'wants' is so few and far between that she gets that too. I ask her, but she says ''nothing''. And she really means it. She has more fun buying for me than she does getting from me!

As for the rest of the family, I buy for my Mom, and we are at a loss as to what to give her. She too buys what she needs and what she wants.

I am thinking of making donations in their names to a good charity. Maybe. I don't know.

I've done very little. I'm gonna sit down tonight and make lists! And I have to dig up the stocking stuffers that I bought after Christmas last year. I did get everyone a Tide pen for a stocking stuffer - boy, I felt silly buying 16 of those Tide pens at Target! But they're the best for getting out new stains.

I'm done, I just think the cats might need one more gift-either new collars or a new scratching post (Oscar is too big for ours), as they already foudtheir toys. I'll probaby be picking up some of my mom's and Santa's, though. ;)

2 kids and the dh. I know what I want to get, just waiting for the $$ to come in.

I can not believe it but I'm actually done! and I even started wrapping presents yesterday. The only big thing I have left to do is making all the gift baskets that I planned. Its going to be hard since I'm moving in a week. Couldn't be worse timing. :)

Started shopping on the day after Thanksgiving and finished on the day after Thanksgiving!!

It's a tradition in our house. We get up at 4:00 am, out the door by 4:30, finished at the mall by 10:00 am, finished at the electronics store by 12:00pm, lunch, Target until 3:00. Home by 3:30, presents all wrapped by 6:00, dinner,Christmas movie at the local theater, then in bed by 11:00!!
Whew!!! But at least now we get to relax until Dec 24th. :sunny:

I hope you didn't have to go to work the day after that! :rotfl: Whew!

OK, this will force me to think and plan.

DD13 completely done - need to wrap and hide
DD18 about 3/4 done - need a few more gifts, then to wrap and hide
Brother - shopping done, need to order one thing on-line and ship to his home address, need to wrap and mail his gifts
Best friend - gifts bought, need to wrap and deliver
Grandmother - need to shop for, wrap and deliver
Housekeeper and mailman - cash, done

So, shopping for DD18, grandmother and one for brother, then wrapping and delivering. I don't do Christmas cards or gifts for the neighbors, and I've done the school gifts. Oh, one special gift for DD13's favorite teacher, which I have - it needs to be wrapped and delivered after school one day next week.

Then, a lot of decorating, including getting a tree!! And shopping for Christmas dinner, cooking it, and setting the table!!!

Hmmm, I think I have plenty to do, but also plenty of time to do it in!! If only I would get off the computer....
