Other than the water bill, everything is basically a fixed cost in regard to the house. We used $15 more water this July that last July.

Insurance is fairly consistent here in Massachusetts and I'm paying a fraction of what I paid in Michigan (which has more claims and more car theft). Petrol is brutal but I don't drive that much and only live 25 min from work on a regular road. As for groceries, we primarily go to Costco and haven't noticed much of a difference in our grocery bills.

My home insurance doubled over the past two years. Property taxes are higher based on the annual 2% raise in property value. My electric/gas bill which was once under $200 is now regularly $300 or more. Sewer rates are higher.

Gas I'm probably up to $15 more a month because I drive a hybrid.

Food: we changed our shopping habits so costs are the same. We went from shopping at the "nice" grocery store to the budget one and getting more store brand stuff. Also buy meat based on sales not oir preferred cut or pre-marinated.

Housing: Rent went up $100 a month if I remember correctly.

Electricity is less per a kilowatt but we are pushing more 100 days this summer though so it evened out cost wise.

Insurance went down because I had no claims and managed to stay out of a flood zone which post Harvey in greater gulf coast TX is a miracle.

Electricity, internet, and streaming services are all significantly higher than in previous years. Water is about the same. Insurance costs have gone up in my area due to the inflation of home prices. Property taxes of course always seem to go up as well.

Don't get me started on food cost compared to prior years!

Honestly - I don't know because I don't remember what I spent on groceries (for instance) last month much less this time last year. Our electric bill seems to be about the same (I don't do budget billing) and our propane is on a will-call basis and we use so little that I can't say for sure if it's gone up or not.
I think our home insurance went up $200 or so dollars this year.
I did drop Directv, so we don't have that cost anymore.

where i've really noticed it (beyond groceries in general) is in regard to service and maintainance costs. we are proponants of regular maintainance of things like our hvac, generator, septic and other large systems. the provider's costs have gone up accordingly with gas and wage increases. same with pest and weed abatement services. our homeowner's insurance increased but that was voluntary b/c between a friend's experience with a major loss that had them close to six figures underinsured due to increased materials and labor costs and the costs we incurred doing a couple of renovations over the last couple of years we opted to increase our coverage to make sure that a claim would cover us. utilities have actually decreased-an unexpected side benefit of installing high end lvp OVER existing ceramic tile floors added a layer of insulation that has resulted in surprisingly lower bills.
