How much of world history would have changed if the Americas were colonized in the Middle Ages instead of the Renaissance? 🌎
 
We would have a lot more historic old buildings. So strange to travel to Europe where they would never tear down a 40 or 50 year old building. Here, like here in Sacramento, the 74 year old "new" annex to the State Capitol was torn down because it was "old". Mind you the "old" section of the Capitol building was built 150 years ago, and was renovated in the 1970s. In Europe, a 150 year old building is new.
 
They were, there were always humans living here just not British subjects.
Eventually the British subjects didn't like being subjects either and a bunch of stuff happened until, well, here we are.
