How much of a discount do you get with AAA on packages?

We are getting a MYW with dining and was wondering if there is a significant discount. I am not actually a member, but my Grandmother is. Could we use here membership for a discount? If not, how much is it to join? Is it worth it to get the discounts? Thanks!

The discount only applies to the room portion of your package and it can be anywhere from 10-20% depending on the season. We're going during value season so our discount is 20%.

You would not be able to use your grandmother's AAA discount because I believe you will need to show your card at check-in.

The cost of the membership depends on where you live. Log into www.aaa.com and you should be able to find out there based on your residence.

Also something to keep in mind...only a certain number of rooms are blocked off for a AAA discount, so once those rooms are all sold, you would most likely be quoted the rack rate for your stay.
