How much longer?

Our resale purchase was recorded yesterday according to Orange County's website. So that means all we need to wait for is Disney to put us in the system right? Or is there something else they need to do to slow this down more? Are we only a week or so out from being about to access our points? We're 2 weeks from 90 days out from the start.

They need to build your account, put your contract in, load your points and mail you your member info and ID. Two weeks seems about right.

I was added to OCC yesterday myself. 2 weeks would put me at 94 days until completion.

Knowing upfront it would take ~90 days made the waiting easier.

I'm 3 weeks out from closing and deed recording. No cards. No points loaded into account yet. : /

3 wks after recoding and still nothing?! Man, I hope I don't have that much longer to wait. Hope they get you loaded soon! These resales clearly are not a priority to Disney!

I am 80 days from the beginning of the process. Deed recorded on OCC website over a week ago, and still waiting for points. We called DVC member services. We are in the system, but no number has yet been issued....

My contract closed about 3 weeks ago, was recorded 18 days ago and still no letter. A friend of mine closed a couple weeks before me and took 2 1/2 weeks to get letter with member # after her deed recorded and 8 days after that to get package with member cards. Based on that, I should receive my letter in the next day or 2.

I honestly can be as patient as I need to be knowing that I have saved a lot of $$ buying resale. We originally went to ROFR 4/13 so it definitely has been a while, but life definitely goes on while waiting. This wait is certainly nothing compared to the wait for my premature babies to come home from the NICU 12 and 13 years ago!!!

The process has gone exactly as others have described on this forum so no big surprises with any part of the process (even had to do an addendum due to wording on contract). All of it, no big deal!!! The points will be ours to enjoy for years to come in the end!!! So excited and happy! Oh, and Addonitis struck already. Just got an accepted offer on a second contract yesterday!! Will post details on Rofr string once I get word that it has been sent!!!

My points are finally loaded. Nothing in the mail yet...so calling in and finding out my number and log in helped! Trip booked for my youngest babies 1st b-day next month!

Congratulations :) did you get your number without a problem ringing?

I called member accounting 2 weeks after my deed recorded and had no issues getting my number from them.

I tried getting my number yesterday approx. 9 days ( deed recorded 7/29). No hesitation with denying me and stated " you have to wait for your letter". I'm still gonna try later next week even if I don't have my letter

I got my letter in the mail today with member number. Exactly 19 days after deed was recorded!

When you guys list number of days past recording are you counting just business days or total days including weekends? I'm assuming total days.

I was counting total days, including weekends. My contract recorded on Monday, July 20 and received letter with member # on Saturday, August 8. The letterhead was dated July 31 though so not sure why it took so long to get it! I called member services with my number and they quickly set me up with my online account so was able to "play" online right away!
