How much longer will search be disabled?

Anyone know how much longer that the search will be disabled? It seems like it has been forever......

Even when the search function was still working, I found it a lot easier to search for things on DIS by using Google. When you type in your search terms, just type in " site:disboards.com" in front separated by a space then your search words. It will list all of the threads that are related.

searching through Google gives far better results to search with than the boards... I always get funky responses from the boards search but the google ones seem pretty much bang on as to what I need.

The google search works very well. However, the board's search being down also kills the 'participated' tab of the 'current' section of the ipad app.

Mine hasn't been working for days, and it's made some research much more difficult. I hope it's back soon.
