I am so excited, I saw gas for $2.25 today and thought that was fantastic. It got me wondering what everyone else was paying these days. So how about it, how much is gas in your neck of the woods?

I saw gas for $2.49 today. I wonder how much lower it will get? I'm trying to figure out when would be the best time to call to get my home heating oil tanks refilled.

Depends on where you buy but there's a huge range. I saw it as low as 2.66 up to 2.89. I always find it amazing how quickly the gas stations raise their rates and yet are soooo slow to drop. I always wonder if the low stations are lower faster because they just filled their tanks (at lower per barrel costs) and the high stations still high because they haven't. Or are the high stations high trying to make the quick buck before someone catches up with them? KWIM?
