Just got our bill for the month of June and it was $310! We have no gas so that does include stove and dryer as well as an inground pool. We only turned the central air on briefly for the first time last week, so that's not even included. It seems like our bills keep getting higher every month. The most we've paid in the past has been around $215 during the summer. I'm curious what other people around the country pay. :confused3

They are steadily climbing. This month I am at $69. We turn the temp (if this makes sense) up in the house when we leave to 85 so the air isnt running all day. Our bill 2 years ago was around 40-45 a month.

I just received our bill for the month - $165. And no pool here except one shaped like a turtle.

I'm on the budget plan, which means they spread the cost out over the entire year so I pay around $90-$100 year round. I live in a small-ish ranch house with whole house air and electric stove/dryer.

98 this month and we have tv on all the time for noise....ac has been going on during the day and overhead fans at night. We have a washer and dryer going and one upright freezer too besides the other stuff that goes and goes and goes.....

We have window units on, most of the day while we're there.... 1 always, 2 sometimes the 3rd goes on before I get into bed. I like my bedroom like a meat-locker.....

THANKFULLY - we just got last months and it was $95 ! ! ! :woohoo:

And dont be too jealous - I have no idea how it was so reasonable - and considering my gas was $345 innnn March, I think. I deserve a nice low one. :teeth:

Florida here - and it is HOT!!! My air conditioner runs non-stop all day - doesn't shut off until around 10:00 at night. And I've only got it set on 78. It's been doing this for about six weeks now. Our last bill was almost $200. No pool - 1500 sq. ft home.

We're in the process of building at 2800 sq. ft home with a pool. I'm scared to death to think about the power bills. I do know that the house we're currently in is not insulated well, so I'm hoping the new home won't go up too much as far as the power bill.

Our old house was about $60-70 for electric in the summer months. I don't know what our new house is yet, haven't gotten a bill yet. We have 2 pond pumps running pretty much non-stop so we will have to see what those cost to run. We run our central air pretty much all the time because of the kids' allergies/asthma.

I'm on the average plan I spend 52 dollars each month!

Yeah, I pay about 300 POUNDS...imagine that with the current exchange rate. I can't wait to move back home.

Our last bill was $212. It's HOT down here.

My home is 2700sf with separate units up & down. We have gas heat & stove.

I justed looked online to see what my payment was for last month. It was $104. That is with 2 A/C units, lights, tv, dryer, etc. No pool though.

Our last bill was $127. Our stove and hot water tank are gas and we have approximately 1700 square feet.

This past Spring we replaced our heat pump with a Trane heat pump and got zoning for our ducts and our electric bill dropped significantly.

I'm betting next month's bill will be a lttle higher though.

I'm afraid to look after this month. We have central AC that we keep at 73/74 for our bulldog!

Budget billing- $106 a month 2 story 2400sq ft ac on 74 during day ceiling fans and ac on at night (upstairs is always warmer!) Gas is $84 a month also on bugdet billing.
