How much is your 2013 WDW vacation going to cost you?

Dates: 4/25-5/7 (12 nights)
4 adults (2 college age kids), 1 child (12)
AoA Finding Nemo suite
10 Day Park Hopper, Water Parks and More
Reg. Dining Plan

$9829.53 :scared:

We are in Utah, so there will be airfare, however I'm hoping to get it all taken care of through frequent flier bonus points.

Hoping for a good discount either through AAA or if it makes sense for us, I'll do an AP discount. I'm seriously doubting I'll get anything decent in the way of a WDW discount, but I'm still keeping my fingers crossed for some pixie dust....or a PIN.

If we still don't have the cost completely covered as the trip approaches, I'll shave off a day or two.

Booked Wednesday and this will be the most I have spent on a Disney Trip!
Hubby is not a huge fan like me so I'm trying to make it very enjoyable for him! Maybe I can convert him after this! :scratchin

Dates: Oct 27-Nov 2, 2013
Resort: Animal Kingdom Lodge
Room: Standard Club Level (Free beer had him hooked!)
Tickets: 5 day PH
Dining: Deluxe Dining Plan

$5080.34 :faint:

My sister, her hubby and her daughter (2 1/2 when we go) are doing the same package. Its her daughters 1st trip and also her hubby and I will be celebrating birthdays there!!

Their trip is probably for this year.. Though the title of this thread says 2013. I don't think Disney has released any kind of discounts yet for next year... except for AAA.

I believe this trip is for this year.. she/he didn't see the tittle that it is for 2013. I'm sure it's for this year. I never heard of any discounts being released yet for next year. Unfortunately, she/he didn't add the date on their trip. This would have answered the confusion.

Unless they're from the UK...they've already got a free dining offer for next year...
Ah!! That could be it! But we don't know where they are from. Their airfare average came to $201 pp... assuming this is rt. Is it really that cheap to fly from UK to US? If so, I would like to fly to UK! We've never been! I know just to fly to Orlando its going to cost me about $350-$400 pp rt.

At what time in 2011 did they release discounts for this past spring (2012)?:coffee:

This is what I found on another thread...

August 3, 2011
Free Dining Discounts released for dates through early Spring 2012
October 1 – October 6, 2011
October 22 – November 3, 2011
November 12 – November 17, 2011
November 26 – December 1, 2011
December 10 – December 15, 2011
January 8 – January 12, 2012
January 21 – February 2, 2012
February 11 – February 16, 2012
March 3 – March 8, 2012
March 24 – March 29, 2012

This ran right up to the week before easter.
Then I found this...

New discount out this morning for April 13 to June 14, 2012 up tp 30% off. Listed under "special offers" on the WDW website. Didn't work for me, as the Royal Rooms at POR are not included, but I'm just passing on the info. Hope it helps for some of you!

so maybe we will see something in august...maybe November. I HATE ALL THIS WAITING.

No worries. I was thinking you were a lucky duck and how could I be one too. :)

Haven't booked it yet, but here are the plans:

October 19-26, 2012, 3 adults, CBR, 7 day Park Hopper

$2,643.90

Considering the fact that my adult niece is going with us and paying for her third, that makes it a very affordable trip for us! And we have 13-1/2 months to get it paid for! Hoping for Free Dining!

Little Mermaid room at AoA
4/7-4/13
5 day Water Parks & More
2 adults, 1 child, 1 infant (will be 2 the day we get back).
No dining plan.

$1,731

Airfare will roughly be about $1,600 (UGH!)

~$3,500 + food. We'll likely eat breakfast and lunch in our room (garden grocer!) and will eat dinners out.

I am assuming most of these are packages that are posted when they reference the dining plan.

Mine is:

4 Adults (2 of which will be 16yo)
Coronado Springs
8 day package with dining, park hopper and water park

$4635.06

Still need airfare, looking at approximately $1200.00

Grand total: $5835.06

Does this sound reasonable, does anyone have any tips to save some money.

Sadly, yes, that is reasonable for Disney. We will be at CSR at roughly that time in 2013 too! Haven't booked yet, so don't have a total to post. I, too, wish there were ways to save at Disney, but I haven't discovered any yet. Because of our jobs, we're locked into travelling at peak times, like early August, and can never take advantage of cheaper room rates or free dining plan.

LM room at AOA (will upgrade to POR if free dining is offered)
9/1/13-9/11/13
10 nights
10 day ticket with park hopper
Dininng plan
2 adults

Total - $3,139.20

No, its more like $1000 for direct. $750 if you can get a deal.

Airfares are my excuse as to why I don't go back as often as people would like :rotfl:

Justifying the cost of this trip in my head because we'll be traveling during Christmas week and we're 4 adults...DH, Me, and two adult sons! Here goes:

4 adult 7-day non-hoppers (just arrived from Undercover Tourist!) 1,046
10 nights at the Swan (so far, 6 of them are free* on SPG points ) 1,700
*just have to pay the extra 25 each for our adult sons & resort fee
Food....no dining plan for us. Planning on some table service meals, but
not every night. Breakfasts are always eaten in our hotel room. 2,000
Flights from Boston (anticipating very high prices for holiday flights) 2,500
Car service to and from airport/Swan hotel (no Magical Express :( ) 200
TOTAL COST: $7,446

Hopefully, I will be able to earn at least a couple more "free" nights at the Swan before our trip. This will help reduce our hotel costs...and maybe allow for a couple more table service meals!

Well, we are a family of six, so it is expensive.

Jan 24-Feb 4 (11 nights)
Wyndham Bonnet Creek, 2 bedroom $1415.00
YES Tickets (if we get them) $1300.00
Airfare from MKE (Southwest) $1300
Meals $1000
Parking at WDW $180
Car Rental $400
Spending money and misc $1000

Total: $6500-7000 for 12 days, 11 nights.

Ridiculous, huh?
