How much is the hotel tax in Anaheim?

We're starting to plan our trip and looking at hotels and I'm wondering how much to expect for hotel taxes. Can someone tell me the approximate percentage for local taxes? Thanks.

I think it's about 17%. Don't forget about misc fees like parking fee, resort fee and 2% T.I.D.A. fee. It all adds up.

I believe the 17% includes the 2% T.I.D.A.

The City of Anaheim lists a transient/tourist tax of 15%, plus another 2% for the Anaheim Tourism Improvement District (ATID). So the total hotel tax would be 17%. I looked back through my receipts and that matches what I was charged at the BWPPI last December.
