How much is the DVC discount on Halloween and Xmas parties?

Had figured we'd be seeing tix increase but find the various discounts rather confusing. Understand the concept of bigger discounts to 'fill the house' on the earlier/slower dates but why would rather see a flate $5 or $10 (lol) discount for DVC members.

Have to laugh it wasn't that long ago when it was cost effective for us to buy several MNSSHP tickets in lieu of park tickets for a week's split trip between WDW & Universal.

We are currently in the process of purchasing a resale contract. Will we be eligible for the discount or is that an extra perk we lost? It really doesn't matter to us, but if I can save a few dollars on our party tickets, I want to take advantage of that.
