How much is tax on the Gold annual pass? Need exact price please!

Hey guys, leaving in only a few weeks! We currently have 8dPH tickets that we would like to upgrade to Gold AP. I am hearing horror stories from people who have CMs say they cant do it, or charge them hundreds more than they should. Advice I got from another board is to know the exact price it should cost us. I see the price on the member website but it also says plus tax. Can anyone help me out? Also, do I have to enter the park in order to ask for them to be upgraded? Thanks so so much!

Sales tax on the Gold Pass is $35.69 ($549.00 times 6.5%).

You can do the transaction at any park ticket window or guest relations location. You don't need to enter a park before doing the upgrade.

hey thank you so much for your response. As far as the total I should expect to pay, I add up the 3 regular priced 8dPH tickets for us on the Disney website (which for us us 1413.27 for 2 adults and 1 3yo). Then subtract that from the Gold annual passes x3 and that's what I should expect to pay? Sorry I just want to be organized and educated in case I have any problems at the window. Thanks again for the help- its so very appreciated.

You process them one at a time, so you should know the amount for each one. The child's ticket cost you less, but the AP is the same price.

Is there an issue involving the taxes? If the $1413.27 for the original three passes included taxes, do you get a credit toward the new pass for the portion of the the price paid on the old pass that was taxes?
