How Much Is It Costing You To Go To Orlando In 2011?

March 2011
2 adults & 1 child
6 days/5nights @ all star sports
QSDP
4 day park tickets
$1753
airfare from detroit
est $500 ea
so $1753 + ~1500 = $3253
plus oop stuff...

For my husband and I 5 nights and wilderness lodge, 6 day hoppers, the regular dining plan, airfare from Providence($205pp rt)...about $3100. Plus we expect $1000 for spending money.

5/22-6/3 Vacation Dates5

5/22-5/26 Driving from VA to Myrtle Beach, SC
Hotel for 4 nights $378 (an efficiency)

5/26- Drive to GA stay over night $63

5/27-6/3 - arrive at Royal Pacific at Univeral -stay CLub Level(will cut down on food costs)
$1949 for room
Flex tickets $859
Total around $2822

6/3 drive back to SC and spend night $75.00

I figure about $500-$600 for food, just guessing.

So about $3800 for a two week vacation. This is usually what we budget for each year.

Here is ours
ME,DH, DD 6 and DD 3
Kids free promo
POP Century for 10 days
8 day MYW base ticket
added the QSDP
2283.00
Air fare roundtrip non-stop from Mancheter for 4 flying SW no bag fees 665.00

Tusker House Breakfest 80.00
T-rex cafe 100.00 and 2 dinos 60.00
4 MNSSHP tickets around 220.00

3308.00

My kids have gift cards for the rest of there souviners to use. We may also upgrade to a moderate for this trip and that would bring our total to the 4000.00 mark. If free dining comes out either way would save me another 350.00. I missed the deadline for booking. I was expecting to pay around 1200.00 for airfare so that was a great deal.

2 disney adults/9 days/CBR

Airfare $0
Hotel/dining/park hoppers $2319
Rental Car - $150
Gas $35
Dog sitter $140
Day at Harry Potter World $400
Outlets $600
Walmart run $50
souvenir shirts $80
tips etc $300

Total $4074

$5000 for our family of four:

9 nights at AS Sports in May, QSDP & 10 day Hopper/WP passes for 2 adults & 2 "disney adults" (my 12 and 10 year olds) - $3500
(that's with a 35% room PIN code - UGH!)

Food, gas and cheap hotel for drive down - $500

Souvenirs, meals or snacks "off plan" - $1000 (I hope this will be enough! a little worried about it!)

As of now... 4 people (2 "adults", 17 yr old sd, 5 year old ds)
October 2-9, 2011
All Star Movies preferred room
8 day basic tickets (no park hopping or water park and more)

$1950.00

Flight tickets I'm estimating about $1200

That is without any promotions. I am hoping for an October deal, either free dining or a percent off. If a percent off we may upgrade to a moderate, but ds loves the Toy Story rooms. If free dining we may extend the trip.

No rental car. I am hoping to keep it <$4000.

Next summer we are planning on going to Disneyland... a first for me!

All costs reflect 2 adults, 1 5 year-old child, & 1 lap infant (18 mos).

Airport parking (origin city) - $39.45
Flight -$30 in fees (we used frequent flier miles)
Cost for checked baggage on USAirways :headache: - $50
Use of Magical Express for transportation to/from airport - free
5 days/4 nights at Wilderness Lodge plus MYW tickets - $2333.70
Disney Dining Plan - free
Additional souvenir costs - $300

(Let's not talk about the countless little things I bought/custom outfits I made for the kids!)

Total cost $2753.15

We went thru AAA, total package for me, dh, ds13, dd10, dd6 & ds5 is $4700. That includes 7 nights at POP, hopper passes, DP and two adjoining rooms.
Roundtrip airfare from Philly to Orl- $1250
So total of $5950.... And still need to book BBB and souvenirs, ouch! This is why we haven't been there in 4 years lol

For me (a Monday through Saturday trip, the week after Thanksgiving)
Airfare: not booked yet, but $250 is probably the max
Tickets: 5 day non-hopper $237. Will buy over the summer from the Disney Store at the local mall
ASMu: not booked yet, but plan to use an emailed 35% pincode: $356 plus taxes and fees
Add in a few hundred bucks for food (I'll buy myself a Disney gift card at some point) and I'll probably be able to do the trip for under $1000. The pain won't be so bad since I'm buying all the components in stages, and it'll be paid by vacation time!

Let see, so far...

867.00 rt tickets on airtran from philly to Orlando
198.00 8 day rental car reservation
1248.00 7 day park hopper tickets for 4 adults.
120.00 (estimate parking at airport)

Going in August for 10 days...

7 day WDW Park Hoppersfor 8(all Disney adults) --$1506 through the YES program

9 nights at a 5 bedroom pool house(Indian Wells)--$904

So, so far it is $2410. We are driving from NC, so there will be gas cost for 2 cars and then parking, food and miscellaneous. I would say it will end up costing about $4000, but not bad for 8 people.

April/May 5 people (4 disney adults and 1 child) 6 nights staying onsite, 6 day tickets, food with 1 character meal and souvies=$3092

4 night, 4 day trip coming up at the end of Feb for 2 adults:
airfare - $0 (redeemed free tickets from being bumped on our way home from a cruise last year)
hotel - $353 (all star movies preferred room with 35% PIN discount)
park tickets - $575 (4 day PH from UT)
Total cost is $928 + food/souvenirs to bring back for kids

eta: upgraded one ticket to AP, so add $226
food $ a few souvenirs = $200 (does not include my friends food/souvenir cost)
post trip total = $1354

Driving from PA to FL, round trip, with hotel stay both ways - apx. $500 (hopefully less!)

5 7-day MYW base tickets through YES program - $850

8 nights in offsite 4BR rental pool home - $790

Food/souvenirs - apx $1000 (hopefully less!)

So we're right around the $3000 range for an 11-day trip for 5.

We are going aug 1 to 12th and here is what we assume we will end up paying. We have 2 adults and 3 kids - 10, 9, and 7.

Boardwalk villas - exchange through RCI so paid $179 plus we will need to pay $95 to use their transport and ability to book dining plan. I guess you could include the $89 fornour annual RCI maintenance. So thats about $350.

We are staying for four extras nights on the front end and are contemplating a timeshare tour at Marriott cypress harbour for $499 which includes two 7 day multi park non expire pass to universal to use at a later date.

We bought the YES program with park hopper and waterparks for about $1000.

We will buy 3 adult dining counter plans for about $700 for the week on property and will probably spend and extra $100 for the extra days.

We will rent a car and hope to spent about $200.

We have free tickets and gifts cards through southwest cc promos so no cost there.

All told we are in the ballpark of about 3k for 12 days so I'm pretty happy.

WOW - by the looks of what everyone posted prices have really gone up the past 3 years. We went three years ago in September. We paid $1600 for 2 adults 2 kids - included dining plan, 10 nights at Pop Century and 10 day park passes (no hoppers). We only had to add any souvenirs which were minimal.

3A, 2C. 2 Rooms at POFQ, 8 nights

Airfares - Qantas Sydney to MCO via Dallas. Just under $5,000. Qantas had great special for their launch flights into Dallas. That is really really really cheap.

Accom including Dining Plan, Tickets, etc. $4600

A few meals not on DDP, tips, etc $800
Side trip to Kennedy for DH and I $200?
Car Hire $300 including insurance for 6 days (I have a work discount.)

Trip insurance - about AUD$450, dollar is about parity.

Dooney and Bourke Bag - yes, I have that listed :lmao:$250

Other spending, too much, so I won't count it.

Total $11,600 :scared1: Gee, I'm wishing I didn't add that.

Airfare I haven't booked yet but I am shooting for $79/pp each way (160.00x4)$640 hoping for Southwest bags fly free!
