How much infant formula can you buy on DCL?

Hello, I will be traveling in April with husband and son who will be six months old.

We feed him liquid formula. Question: is there enough liquid (pre-mixed) formula available to buy in the store for a hungry kid for the whole trip, or is it just to supplement for a day or so if you run out?

I’m not too worried about the price markup but more the quantities that are available.

Thanks!

I wouldn’t rely on purchasing any on board. Their sundries section is tiny and so very few infants travel that are formula reliant it’s not something I’d imagine would be in any quantity to rely upon.

Plus my kiddo was very sensitive to brands and the last thing I’d want to deal with on a cruise is not having the right brand and stomach issues or fussy kid..

Have you considered getting infant used to powdered/mix with water just for the cruise? We had long work related trip when my first was 5 weeks and even though I breastfed, I supplemented with that for times I couldn't breastfeed. Easier to pack.

I would count on ZERO.

IF they were to have ANY formula, to assume that they have the right brand of liquid is a pretty darn major stretch.

If you child is reasonably healthy (I had a preemie, so had very defined formula needs), I'd seriously consider trying to get him used to a powdered formula for a trip like this. (We used to travel with an entire canister in the suitcase.)

I recommend bringing the formula you need with you, plus extra just to be on the safe side. If you don't want to fly with it, you can stop at a store on the way to the port.
