how much does it cost for a taxi from Downtown Disney to the Boardwalk?

does anyone know how much it costs to take a taxi from Downtown Disney to the Boardwalk?

also, what's the phone # to call to get a taxi for getting around WDW again?

The bus service is pretty good for getting around WDW. It'll get pretty expensive if you keep taking a taxi to go from one place to another!

I don't know the number to call, but friends of ours used a taxi this summer to go from the YC to DTD and it cost them about $8.00. One was just driving by, and since it was late (about 10pm) they weren't sure how long they'd wait for a bus to DTD, so they just took the cab.

thanks. i was asking for a similar reason.
for a late-night situation where we might not want to wait.
so just in case we want to take a cab, we know how much it'd cost.
