extra point rental? If I have 100 points and am in need of 110 and dont want to borrow from next year, I know they said we could just call them and pay for the extra 10 points for a single use directly through them but I dont remember how much. I know I could rent from another member but dont want the hassle. Does anyone know what the amount is? Im set to close on my resale purchase any day now and want to be prepared! Thanks!

$15 per point and up to 24 points - from what I remember paying in 2010. Not sure if it has changed. Member Services can also tell you.

As the PP stated, it's $15/point up to 24 points. The points have to be purchased at the time of booking the trip and are not refundable if the trip is cancelled. I don't think they can be banked, either. You can only purchase the additional points at the 7 month booking window.

Nope, these points don't have a resort attached to them. Thus they are only good at seven months out. They want you to buy an addon of 25 points to get that 11 month head start on booking.

And you cannot buy that points online, so you also loose the one hour window advantage booking online. At 7 months you have to wait that MS open at 9:00 and call to use those points.
I would look at availability at 8:00, book the first days of your vacation, then call MS at 9:00 to add the last night to the reservation with the one time use points.

To add, I believe you can only use these points once a year.
