Has anyone been to disney lately and seen the large Cinderella castle playset? It looks like the castle and has a bunch of figures and accessories. I was there last week and wanted to buy it for my daughter for christmas but hubby wanted to wait til we got home to order online. Well...disney online doesn't have it. I saw it on ebay for 80$ with 25$ shipping which seems a bit much. I know I can call disney and get it directly through them but was wondering if anyone knows the price. i never looked at the tag when I was there.

thanks

We bought it while we were down there for DD5 and it was $69 and only $15 for shipping. We had it within ten days after we got home. (we live in Illinois) We thought it was actually a reasonsable price.

It was about $70. We ended up getting it at the World of Disney NYC store. You can order it from there, too, I think.

Just want to say that this castle is worth every penny!
I bought it back in late 2003 or early 2004 for my then 3 1/2 year old granddaughter.
She is now 7 1/2 and still loves to play with this set. We have added many additional characters throughout the years, but she absolutely loves this set!
Her 5 year old brother even likes to play with her when she has this out!

I just advised my sister to buy this for her granddaughter who is now 3 to 4.

I actually just ordered one about 2 weeks ago from WDW merchandising - i don't know the phone number but if you do a cinderella castle search, it is in one of the posts. It was 69 and 15 to ship. Heard it was fantastic, and while my dd will enjoy the castle aspect, my ds will appreciate that it hooks up to his monorail.

Any photos of this playset? Santa still does not know what to bring to DD who only asked for new Dora figures for her playhouse and Aqua Dots....ummm both recalled!!!!!!!!!

Does anyone have the number to call and order from Disney? I would love to see a picture of the castle playset. My DD4 still insists that Santa is bringing her this (and the Bitty Twins) and that it comes with fireworks????:santa:

I will be back on tomarrow and I will see if the number is with the castle. I will get it to you then.

I know that if you do a search for the castle there is a thread that has some really pics. !!!!!

My DD5 saw it on here a few days ago and said " Mom I wish we would have bought that while we were down there, I really wanted one. "
Thanks to Santa she will get her wish on Christmas morning.

Hi,

We bought the Castle for DD's 5th Birthday in Disney last year. I believe it was $70. We took it out of box and out in bag to get in on Airplane.

I must say she LOVES it....:goodvibes

We bought the castle playset at the Disney store at the Orlando airport for like $69. We had them box it for us and DH went back and checked it on the flight with our luggage. We had a flight delay, so fortunately, we had the time to do that.

Here's the number: 407-363-6200

It was $69 + $15 shipping. Order it ASAP if you want it for X-mas. I heard they are telling people 2-3 weeks for delivery right now.

We ordered ours a few weeks ago and it took 2 weeks to have it delivered.

Good luck!

I love my Cinderella Castle. But after DS2 broke DD's Beauty and the Beast Castle, I put it away. They had it on a small play table in the gift shop at CSR the last time we were there. He RAN to that table to play with the "forbidden castle".

I Just Bought One From World Of Disney Nyc. It Came To Like $53, Including Shipping. It Was On Sale For 25% Off, And I Got A 10% Annual Passholder Discount. I Recieved It Like Two Days Later.

I realise the date on this post is pretty dar back. I was wondering if they still sold this or something simular at the parks? We are going in September and my daughter would LOVE this!

Yes, the Cinderella Castle set is still sold. I see it there each time we go (last in Dec 2008) and not sure of the price, but it is well worth it. We bought it in late 2003 for my (now) 9-year old granddaughter and she STILL plays with it.

Are there other things that go with it? I know someone mentioned the monorail. What is the recommended age? I would guess 3+.

Thank you my daughter is princess crazy and would love this! I will have to keep an eye out for it:yay:

the exact age but we bought it for our daughter for her fourth birthday. She saw on our departure day about two weeks before her birthday. I though I was going to have an easy time packing the back of the car since we had gotten rid of all the water we brought with us.

It's great. There are some small items that could be dangerous if put in a mouth. These are little items related to the different princess stories like a spinning wheel for Sleeping Beauty and a rose for Belle.

The best I remember it does come with the main princesses and their princes, and some little accessory items, like potted shrubs, etc.

Of course, we have bought the additional little playsets with many of the Disney characters. This set has entertained my grandchildren for many years. I now keep it at my house and it is always the first thing they pull out when they come over.

In fact, I have a brand new one in the attic, just waiting for the littlest granddaughter to turn 3, because this is one toy that I can see them keeping for years to be played with by their children one day.

That is so sweet! I hope she enjoys it (I'm sure she will)!
