We usually go for a week in November. This time we are staying at OKW 2br villa. 2 adults, DS 11, DD9(step-kids)DD6, DD4, DD1, DS 3mo???(has not arrived yet). With air, spending money...this trip is costing about $6000.00. It is about $2000.00 less when we don't bring my step kids(every other year).

I am a single and am planning my first solo trip there. I have been trying to go single for sometime but a member of my family would always pop up and come along. Usually I find that I would spend a month plus one weeks salary (although I am a college grad and have been for decade, I don't make heeping handfulls). We are usually frugal, mostly drive, bring food materials and stay both onsite and offsite during the visit (also use priceline). I have never stayed less than 7 days on any of my vacations and I find that I am usually there for 9 days with a cost for two around $2500.

My next vacation as a single with the FTP will cost me about $1,800 for an 8 night vacation (one night offsite and flying there). I could've saved $250 if I would've stayed at the AS but chose a moderate as I wanted an adult feel without having to share a pool with 50 children. The extra $250 for a nicer hotel, boatrides to DTD, staying onsite the entire stay and some peace and quiet are worth the extra $$'s.

We have only been planning this for about 3 months...our first vacation. Growing up...we didn't have money for vacations, so to us...3 days at Disney was going to be UNBELIEVABLY WONDERFUL!!
We are spending about 1500 TOTAL, including our hotel, tickets, food etc. We even had enough left to add another 2 days...so 6 days, 5 nights at WDW... (we have good discount connections ;) )
Anyways...everyones pay is different...but I would hope everyone would be able to take enough NOT to worry about money when they got there. WE'll be a little tight budgeted...won't get all the souveniers we want..won't have great character dinners...but we're at WDW...we're gonna have a blast!!!
