How much do you tip for pizza delivery?

For one large pizza? What's the going rate these days?

If its Pizza Hut, which now charges a fee, nothing or $1-2. If its another chain, $3 or 4.

Usually a dollar or two, unless we make a large order then we tip more.

I usually tip $3 if they deliver by the time they said they would ($4 if the weather is bad). Papa Gino's now charges $1 delivery fee, but I don't know if the driver even gets that money!

We ordered pizza last night. The total was 16.43 and we gave the driver a 20 that is pretty normal for us.

The drive does not necessarily get the delivery fee. I usually tip $3 plus the change

Usually $3-4. We only get one or two pizzas and breadsticks. If the weather's really bad, I'll give another buck or two.

I can say, as an ex-pizza delivery person, that you guys are VERY generous compared to most of the people that order! Thanks! Driving pizza to someone's house may not seem like tough work, but I was always more wiped out from that job than from any of the waitressing jobs I had, and those always paid out a LOT more in tips. (However, in most places pizza delivery drivers do make minimum wage, unlike waitresses.)

$5-10 but only because we order from a small town that is about 5 miles away and technically they arent suppose to deliever to us because we are across the county line so we tip generously
