How much do you spend on Clothes( and Shoes ) a month?

Generally, I spend $0. a month.

If and when the shopping bugs hits me, I might spend 75.00 all at once. I'm not into handbags, shoes and clothes though.

Now, please do not ask me how much money I give to Mickey per year.

Ditto. Word for word. I rarely (maybe 1x a year) buy something new for myself. And if I do, it's a pair of pants, or a tee-shirt. My wardrobe is good as long as I am the same size from season to season. I don't see the point in getting all new stuff. Really? What a waste!

I am getting a new purse, soon. My one that I have been carrying for almost 5 years has started to wear and the zippers both fell off last week. Not bad for a $7 bag from Target's clearance aisle!

Mickey gets most of my money :)

I think we spend around $20 a month for 2 of us. Sometimes we spend nothing, sometimes we spend a $50 or so. I buy some thrift store items. DH likes $6 shorts from Walmart, so he has tons of the same shorts in different colors. My work clothes are a bit harder to find, but most of my bottoms are khaki or black, and I have several tops that I alternate. I hate to spend lots of money on clothes, so I bargain hunt.

I probably spend $500 or a little more per year, which includes shoes and a handbag. I am a country girl and mainly wear jeans and T-shirts. My big splurges are my animals and home decor.

I've spent $708.87 on clothes and shoes so far this calendar year, so that works out to about $100/month.

Last year I changed from a job that required me to wear scrubs to a job that requires me to wear "business casual" but has a fairly strict dress code. I've had some catching-up to do, wardrobe-wise, but I'm pleasantly surprised to see that I've spent that little, considering how much I've bought. :)

I just won 4 brand-name (J. Jill, Liz Claiborne, April Cornell, etc.) skirts on Ebay for less than $10 each including shipping from 4 separate sellers. Two have arrived and are in like-new condition, and hopefully the next 2 will be as nice. I love to shop, and I'm having so much fun browsing Ebay for clothes!

"no, neither my wife or I authorized those charges. We haven't spent $1000 on clothes in 20 years of marriage much less 20 minutes online." :rotfl2:
:lmao: (Sorry about the theft, but that's funny.)

I'm more likely to buy photography equipment than new clothes for myself. (I wear scrubs, too.)

But since I do have to buy basics for the family, I'd probably say $100/month or so, more in spurts for back to school and seasonal stuff, good shoes/sneakers, etc.

When I do shop, I like to buy good quality clothes, but I don't like to pay full price for them. I enjoy the challenge of a good bargain. (Same with my camera stuff for that matter.)

I spend probably 100 bucks for clothes, but I buy them very rarely. I tend to buy basic clothes, like button down shirts, plain skirts, slacks and jeans and then I get some vintage jewelry and kind of dress it up, so there isnt a lot of money spent on the clothes and only occasionally buy an outfit that is a little pricey.

If anything I splurge on books.
