I paid $540!! Okay I paid $270 per kid.... I have TWINS. $$ They don't give a break.

Here in Florida it's free. My DS did it in high school and only needed to go to the DMV for the final test and license. I think the license was $15

We paid $295 for the first phase of class time and drive time. In 6 months it's another $100 for phase 2 then I believe $40 for driving test.
It was free when I did. It was only 10 years ago

My son just did his last year. The classroom portion was through school. The actual behind the wheel portion was $295.00 for 6 sessions. The permit fee is paid to the state and becomes the license upon passing the road test.
