How Much Do You Ladies Charge to Haunt the Castle? -- Departure Day up (See index

Some nice pictures in Mexico, and you are so correct about all the colors they use to decorate and in the shops!!! I actually spent a little time my last trip to explore the shops there some. Unfortunately you can't barter for a better price like you can in the markets in Mexico....... :rotfl2:

Ate at Kringla Bakeri once, but got the school bread, which I didn't think lived up to all the praise it gets on the DIS. Haven't tried the sandwiches but sounds like I need to add it to my list for the future.

We then shared this bad boy for dessert...it gives the Chocolate on Chocolate Whiskey Cake at LeCellier a run for it's money...it was heavenly:

Now this DOES look yummy! I think I am detecting a chocolate trend here when it comes to you though........... :rotfl:

Have to agree, as much as we loved Nine Dragons, we were equally as unimpressed with the CS Chinese place. Those pot stickers don't even look very appetizing! :(

So we walked through the shops and stopped for this annual picture:

:rolleyes1 Nothing really I can say here..............

well, nothing that I can safely say anyway........

I think Mark and I would get along great.........Rock'n Rollercoaster and the train in Germany!!! :thumbsup2

Woohoo for Voices of Liberty! There are a couple of them in your pictures that were in the same group I heard!

I guess the rain was a good/bad situation. Cut down on the crowds and waits, but also caused you to miss some outside performances.

And as usual, Mark is the Emporer of the Hat modelers!!!

Pat, I am so looking forward to the holiday storytellers....I hope we can catch several of them in our short time there.
Caught some of the storytellers on the last New Year's trip, but missed too many of them! Definitely on my "must-do" list whenever my next Christmas season trip finally rolls around....... :santa: :woohoo:

Kathy I am not gonna let Marv's snide comment about you and the Budda go unchallenged !!! He is such a Cheeky Monkey!!:rotfl2: I am hoping to have more time to explore the World on the Granny Trip and if finances are as imprioved as I hope by 2014 I may do another solo trip in Feb/March 2014 . I love being totally by myself as much as I love going with others :cool1:That trip will be dedicated to finding all the snacks I have wanted to try and spending oodles of time in the World !!

Yay for 30 days :santa:

So excited. :goodvibes

:cool1::cool1: For 30 days

Thanks, Pat.

Okay, since this trip involves a special surprise for Mark's birthday, I will put aside my jealousy you are going yet again this year and reluctantly celebrate with you......... whoopee! :rolleyes1

j/k Kathy! :woohoo: :yay: :dance3: It is getting so close I am almost getting excited for you .......... :goodvibes

Thanks, Marv. I can't believe I will be there 3 times this year.

The surprise is gonna be awesome -- I'm glad it's getting close! :hyper:

Thanks, Glenn. I can't wait to see Mark's face.

It's just such a festive shop. I've never been to Mexico so I can't comment on the bartering of prices.

Definitely try the sandwich....so very, very yummy.

Now this DOES look yummy! I think I am detecting a chocolate trend here when it comes to you though........... :rotfl:

Yes, I love mostly all things chocolate.

Have to agree, as much as we loved Nine Dragons, we were equally as unimpressed with the CS Chinese place. Those pot stickers don't even look very appetizing! :(

And someone posted earlier that she relaly liked them; I'm guessing I just go the old ones sitting around. :confused3

:rolleyes1 Nothing really I can say here..............

Good...it's about time you learned when NOT to say something.

well, nothing that I can safely say anyway........

Watch your step.

I think Mark and I would get along great.........Rock'n Rollercoaster and the train in Germany!!! :thumbsup2

You can have Rock'nRoller; I like the train though.

Woohoo for Voices of Liberty! There are a couple of them in your pictures that were in the same group I heard!

I've noticed different singers a few times, but several of them are always there it seems.

I guess the rain was a good/bad situation. Cut down on the crowds and waits, but also caused you to miss some outside performances.

It was a great day to get a lot done...we just got wet.

Yes, he is.

Thanks for sticking up for me, Rosie.

Oh, I hope you can do a solo trip. I can't do one of those...Mark would kill me. But it sounds like such fun.

After finishing up our tour of Japan (where I again did NOT do Pick a Pearl...this seemed to be the only place crowded in World Showcase), we were strolling to Morocco. I love this pavillion...just beautiful in my opinion.

From there, we strolled to my favorite country for this reason alone:

While I enjoyed my cocktail, Mark got something to nibble on:

After I finished my drink and Mark finished his pastry, we went to watch the movie in France...I love this movie...such a beautiful country.

We sat and rested a while and then we headed to the United Kingdom where we would be having fish and chips for dinner:

And Mark decided another beer was in order:

We had some friends who wanted to share our meal with us:

We then browsed the shops and Mark decided to entertain you all yet again:

Dinner finished, it was time to move on. But, unfortunately, I have a train to catch so you'll have to wait for the finish of Day 3 until later. :)

Where in the Magic Kingdom did you have the fish and chips? It looks delicious

We were in Epcot in World Showcase. They have a counter service stand to get them (or you can order them at the table service, Rose & Crown).

Finally, all caught up! Boy, go to work for a day and you can get so far behind here.:rotfl:Awesome updates! Loved your stop in France. Grand Marnier slushie :cool1: I tried the Lemon Grey Goose this fall. Should have stuck with the orange one!

What a bummer that it rained on you all day. Thankfully there are so many indoor spots in Epcot that one can still have a great time.

:banana::banana::banana: for being at 30 days
:hourglass will fly now!!!!!!!!!!!

hope you can do Pick a pearl in December, would make a nice christmas gift :goodvibes

Marv better start :duck: if he is going to make such remarks about our sweet Kathy!

I LOVE the T shirt. That is SO cute! Wow - he is going to LOVE it!

Did I also comment how much I love the Mine, mine, mine T shirts. They are too cute. You should have worn them on the same day so you could have been all "match-matchy"

Love the picture of the troll inside Maelstrom. I have never gotten than picture successfully.

Loved following you around the world showcase. What a great afternoon, even if it is raining. :goodvibes

I wish I knew how to get out of Japan without doing Pick A Pearl, but I always do it! I know I will again in a few weeks too! :rotfl:

Oh, I hope you can do a solo trip. I can't do one of those...Mark would kill me. But it sounds like such fun.

With Mark being as much of a Disney lover as you, I would not go alone either.

I enjoy meeting up with other DISers, makes the trip so much more fun to be there with others who really "get it". :goodvibes

First off YAY 30 days!!!! Second, that chocolate mousse cake looks A-MAZE-ING (yes I know I spelt it wrong lol). I may have to find one of those this weekend! Loving your tour of the World Showcase! It is my goal to get back there during Holidays around the World and hear all the stories from the Holiday story tellers. We ran out of time the last time I was there.

I would rather get stuck on Gran Fiesta Tour than on It's a Small World. There's only so long I can take the song before feeling like I have to hurl myself into the water. :rotfl2:

I would not have been able to resist the Ditch......but I DO drink tequila. :rotfl:

That panda hat is awesome! Who'd of thunk...a hat and gloves!!!

Morocco is absolutely a beautiful pavilion. It's my favorite!

Morocco is my favorite pavilion in World Showcase. I love the atmosphere and the music. I can sit and listen to Mo Rockin' for hours!

Must get a Grand Marnier Slushie when I'm there. I see those in so many TR's!

I've never seen the movies in France or China and they are on my must do list for the upcoming trip.

Awww, the ducks are so cute! I'm one of the bad ones that would have snuck them some food. I know you are not supposed to but how can you resist those faces?

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, Kathy...is it wrong my favorite country is directly related to an adult slushie

You've been posting faster than I can read this week. :lmao:

I love the World Showcase. The pictures are a welcome sight this morning.

I thought your take on It's a Small Mexico was kind of funny. I have to say it isn't one of my favorites, but I do enjoy the Mexico pavillion, so for a chance to sit down and relax with no wait ever, it's always a good one to hit. And DS seems to love it, so that helps.

I'm sorry you were stuck inside for 40 minutes, but at least you were inside when the worst of the rain hit. It is just a shame that you missed out on a lot of the cultural experiences around the WS due to the rain.

I've never hit the alcohol vendors up in France yet. I might have to change that. I would like to try one of those orange slushes.
