How on earth did your mother get on 24 medications including 4 antidepressants? Was she using multiple pharmacies? I can't imagine that if she was using the same pharmacy that it didn't show as a problem to address when they went to fill one of them? You said the agression is gone. Is her dementia gone too? I'm glad they got her back on track.

I know you complain that you can't get good pictures of Wishes or the dark rides with your camera, but really, I can't seem to do any better with our good camera. So don't feel too bad.

I've heard upstairs is awesome. I don't think we'll be making it over in December either. Our only MK day is for MVMCP and I believe it closes early, so we'd have to rush there right at 4. But who knows...maybe we will!

Yes, I doubt we'll make it to CHH in December either. We have part of a day there and part of that will be taken up with our dining at Be Our Guest, and then we are doing the party on Sunday night.

I keep meaning to try the Anchors Aweigh sandwich, but I always go back to the shrimp. It is isn't broke, don't fix it. So I go with what has worked for me in the past.

It was a lovely surprise from the girls.

It was ALL the doctor while she was in the hospital and nursing home; obviously, they don't question the doctor there.

Yes, she still has dementia...that won't go away. But it is very early stages and they will monitor her carefully. She gets a little confused at times, but other than that she is stable for now.

It is great. Yes, 41 days from today, we will just be about hitting the CSR on the ME bus and then doing a little walking around the resort, and then heading over to The Dolphin to find Nicki and Todd and surprising Mark with their appearance and then having dinner and the Kitchen Sink at Beaches & Cream. Shall I go on?

I think that is part of the new effects when they remodeled, but it sure looked like snow.

This was from a group of girls I met on the DIS. The girls and I are in a little weight losing challenge together on Facebook (we all send in a certain amount for ten weeks and each week whoever loses the most weight receives a Disney gift card).

Kat I'm rooting for you in losing weight. Over this past year I have joined Weight Watchers and hooked up with a local fitness club. I have gone from weighing 267 pounds last October to now weighing 154 pounds for a total loss of 113 pounds and have exceeded my goal. Eating right and exercising has made a difference. With you also having a challenge and accountability with others you will rock this thing.

I have a saying I tell myself and hope you can use it as well. "I CAN, I WILL."

Well, hello there, long time no see.

Seriously, work is a little calm today and I decided to get as much done as I could on my TR because I want to spend the weekend cleaning the house, putting in the storm windows, etc.

We are up to Day 2 of our Disney adventurs (Monday, September 17).

I had a hard time dragging myself out of bed this morning after making it to almost 11:30 at the MK the night before. But I finally did get up and showered and dressed and then got Mark up so he could do the same. I finished downloading yesterday's pictures and we were ready to roll. Unfortunately, we were leaving a little later than I wanted, but it was okay...I figured we would still be okay when we got here:

It was Extra Magic hours for the a.m. and we are normally ALWAYS there by 8:00 a.m., if not sooner. But we pulled up with our good bus mojo yet again and were there by 8:20 a.m. Not too shabby.

First order of business:

Fastpasses were gotten for the Safari, and then we headed to Asia so Mark could do another "solo trip." This time it would be:

Yep, another one I am NOT doing anymore, not even on the girls trips--they are on their own. I'll breakdown and do Space Mountain with them, but RnR and EE are off limits.

A few pictures while I waited for Mark to ride...not once, but twice.

Mission accomplished and it was time for the dump shop:

I sent the above picture to the boys and their girls and the text messages started coming in like wildfires. They were all in stitches over their father's choice of attire.

We stopped to say hello to these guys:

Great updates! Finally all caught up. And I just realized we share the same state.
Sorry to read about the problems you've had with your mom and her meds. Seems a lot of us here on the Dis have parents with dementia. My mom also is struggling with this now. It is a hard place to be in. You have my complete understanding. I think the support received here from friends in this "box" is amazing. Some days it is what helps to keep it all together.

Not ever sure where to start lol! So glad CHH helped make up for your meh lunch. Looks like a fun night at the MK and a great morning at MK. Favorite hat picture so far has to be the yeti? If that's what the heck that hair thing is that is in the picture you send to the boys. either that or punk rock hair with the teeniest tiniest hat I've ever seen. I have no idea what it's supposed to be but it's hysterical!

Very impressive to make it there by 8:20 after such a late night, well done!

Oh no! Not a fan of EE? I made my Marc ride it three times in a row a couple of weeks ago, then he told me that he was feeling a little ick to his stomach. So we stopped...

and went to the Dawa bar so I could have a breakfast drink. At that point I had to go back to our resort and take a nap.

I'm anxious to see how Disney takes care of you for your problems at OKW. We had problems with our club level stay at Jambo last summer. They sent us over to Beach Club and upgraded our villa, but they didn't give us access to the club level there.
Anyway we had a call from the Jambo manager when we got home and yes, they are comping us a stay there at the end of May. So I know that they can make some magic for you! I just hope they do it!
