How Much Do Girl Scout Cookies Cost Where You Live?

Ours are $3 a box also. I was really proud of my DD and how many boxes she sold for her first year (and being 6 years old).

In buying the cookies for the past twenty something years and seeing both price increases and Cookie Count Decreases Some time in the 2012-2014 time frame. Based Upon My Expierence, I calculate that Girl Scout Cookies will be $5.00 for a box of (1) of Girl Scout Cookie. There will be only one cookie in the box.

but the little girls standing in front of our Publix were charging 5dollars a box last year(don’t know if they just didn’t want to make change...or if that is even allowed)

4.00 $ a box up here in Canada and we only get one type, each box has one row of chocolate and one row of vanilla. This is for our spring cookies. In the fall we sell mint ones and nobody likes them ( well except me ) .

Each council contracts with their own baker (which is also why some cookies are available in some parts of the country and not in others.)

The only thing I've noticed in terms of the size changing are the All Abouts (or Thanks A Lots) which used to be quite large and oval and are now small and round. But there are more in the box now that they are smaller; I don't know the volumes however.

The percentage division of the cookie sale proceeds have remained the same, so any price increase would likely be the result of increased cost of production, not some attempt to gouge on the part of Girl Scouts.

We are in N. CA and they are 3.50.

Our cookies are not due in until the 29th of February - how come you guys already have some are they baked by different companies in different parts of the country with different delivery dates?????
