Just realized the other day how much Disney we have in our lives. I was driving DD and DS home from school. DD was wearing a MMouse sweatshirt with a MMouse t-shirt under it. And chances are her undies were either Lizzie McGuire or Disney Princesses. And DS had on a Buzz fleece top, Buzz light-up sneakers, was carrying a Buzz backpack, and probably had on either MMouse or Buzz undies!
I glanced down and realized I was wearing a Pooh shirt and probably had on MMouse sox.
When we got home they watched tv (probably Disney channel) and played computer games (Mickey saves the day or Buzz Lightyear). When they were done on the computer I had to check the Disboards!!
The dinner table conversation was either about our last trip to WDW or discussion about when our next trip will be. As usual, DH had to remind us that he scored in the "Galactic Hero" range when he rode on Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin!
That night I tucked my kids in...... DD in her to Princess room, complete with framed prints of Tinkerbelle, Cinderella, and Ariel, along with a large poster of all the princesses. She laid her head on her Pocohontas pillow and I tucked the Jasmine sheets and Cinderella comforter around her snugly.
Then into DS's room where I closed his Buzz and Zurg curtains, shut off the "flying" Buzz he has over his bed. Then I made sure to fluff up his Buzz pillow and pulled up his Buzz sheets. I made sure he had his snuggly Tigger fleece blanket and he brought his Peter Pan doll to bed. He also has a Buzz, Woody and Jessie print over the head of his bed and a poster-size photo of himself and DH riding the Buzz ride at WDW over the side of his bed, topped by a Buzz Lightyear SRS pennant. I read to him from his "Disney Adventure Stories" book before kissing him good night.
My "before-bed" reading material that night was about 20 pages of information I had printed off of the Mousesavers.com website about planning a Disney cruise. After reading and highlighting the important parts, I put it aside for DH to read. Then I checked to see if I had any messages from the Disboards and went to bed!!
NOW THAT IS JUST A TYPICAL DAY!!
