How much did you pay for your airfare from NY to MCO day after Thanksgiving?

Hi,
Planning next years trip...trying to figure out if the day after thanksgiving is just as high as right before.

I'm particularly interested in Macarthur to MCO.
Thanks
Kerri

Can't speak for downstate, but we flew from ROC (Rochester) to MCO for $74. Both JetBlue and Airtran had this rate on Friday after T'Day. Saturday went up by at least $50.

We've flown out the NYC to MCO 5 or 6 times now at that time of year. We just flew out of Stewart on the Friday after on Jet Blue for $175 RT with great flight times, 8:35AM out and 11:30AM back. We have also flown out on Thanksgiving Day, much to my sister's chagrin, and paid about the same as flying out on that Friday as long as you pick a flight out after 1 or 2 PM. The Thanksgiving morning flights are still high as you can still make a Turkey Day dinner @ 3 or 4 PM in Orlando. If your family won't flame you for missing T-Day dinner and you can swing the extra holiday points, feel free to leave on Thanksgiving afternoon for about the same price. I don't have any experience from Macarther though - just EWR, LGA, JFK and now SWF.

Thanks so much for the replies:goodvibes

I feel better now....I tried to use my AA miles.....but they only had 2 seats on AA.....AND I wouldn't arrive till 8pm that night. What a waste of a day:headache:

So now I will definately be flying SW...I hope the fares are not terrible....I finally am using ALL points for my trip....I was trying to keep the cash to a minimum:headache:
