Probably about $250. My husband and I don’t buy gifts for each other. We’ll get gifts for our 3 granddaughters and give our son and daughter-in-law a check.

I have ten people to buy for and I try to keep it to about $20 a person, a bit more for the three-year-old cousin because he's my Godson as well. People get that I don't have bags of money, thankfully.

Not sure yet. We buy for our niece, nephew, my brother and his wife and both sets of our parents. I usually go over budget on the kids and try to keep each set of parents about equal in value. My husband and I don't exchange gifts. Christmas still probably ends up costing close to $1,000 when all is said and done. We are trying to reign that in quite a bit this year.

The only Christmas shopping I do is for the animal shelter where I volunteer. I have no family or friends that I buy things for. I'll probably spend around 1 to 2 thousand when it's all said and done.

Me, too. That is how much I save during the year in a Christmas account. It must include everything: gifts, food for all the meals (I host), decorations, wrapping, dog hotel, help on a family AirBnB if used. I actually try to come in at $1000 so that I have a head start on the savings in the New Year. If I do need the whole $1200, it's there. But not a dime more.
