How much are earrings in the park?

Title says it all I guess. Both my girls recently had their ears pierced and are ready for their first pair of earrings. I told them I'd buy them each a pair in WDW when we go in a few weeks. Now that I am thinking about it, I'm worried that they will be very expensive from there. So if anyone has a general idea of how much gold post earring would be from Disney could you please let me know.

Thanks so much!
Erin

I am guessing they still have the earrings they got pierce with? If they do then you have to be very careful what you put after them because a lot of people get bad reaction to the cheap earrings. I got a pair of mickey zirconia and sterling silver earrings last year for $28 at the WOD. DH found the "real" version of it at the store in the grand floridian with gold and diamonds for $1300. I said no to that because it is not like my other studs that I will wear them everyday.

I bought my niece a pair for about $7; I don't remember if they were surgical steel or not, but they do have a range of prices, especially for "little girl" type styles.

We purchased a pair last year and I am thinking they were under $10. Unfortunately that was how we discovered that my daughter could not wear the 'cheap' earrings and her ear became infected.
Just a thought but what about picking up a pair from Kohls to take with you and leave in the room as a surprise. They have some cute gold Mickey heads for $30 this week and I think there is a 20% off coupon floating around.

You can find earrings at Disney in all price ranges! from $10 to thousands. You picked a good thing to promise and they had some really cute ones.

If you want gold then look at kmart. I got my daughters ariel and cinderella earrings at a great price.

My wife bought two pair on our last trip and one was $12.?? and the other was $18.??

She has very sensitive ears, and enjoys wearing both of them.

We use the AP discount/DVC discount/ or AAA Discount depending on what gives us the best % off depending on where we shop :)

With the price of gold right now - it's definitely a hard time to justify buying solid gold for young ones that don't realize the value of gold - or don't have the awareness of losing one.

Thank you for all the replies. I'd really like to stick to gold posts, since I have very sensitive ears and that is all I can wear. I'm nervous that if we try something cheaper that they will get their first infection, and I don't want that. So far they've been really responsible with their earrings and we have had no problems. I'm hoping I can find a pair with gold posts, and maybe a mickey head or something (my oldest wants Cinderella's carriage but that may be harder to find) and spend about $30 each. Not sure if that is realistic or not.

This is a good idea and I would do it, but I did promise them I would get them a pair at WDW, not just buy them Disney earrings. Getting their ears pierced was a big deal for them, and I don't want to break my promise.

I purchased my DD a MM 14 KG shaped earrings for $199 at the GF in the store that sells the bathrobes

Does anyone know where I can find some Halloween MM earrings? I have seen some cute ones on ebay, but I do not purchase things off of ebay. My neice just came back from the world on Friday and did not see any Halloween or Christmas ones.

I bought gold mm earrings on Main St in the shop that sells watches (on the left going toward the castle). They were $60, and are 18k gold studs.
