DHS continued (hopefully)

The girls of course had a couple of rides to do

The 3 contestants were all very good , but we all liked the last one the best and he won!!!!

We of course had to give this a try

Needless to say I was the LOW score !!!

We had ressies for the Fantasmic package at Mama Melrose's !!
Firstly we arrived a few minutes early only to find a HUGE disorganized line waiting I got in line and waited , soon I noticed people cutting in so I kept my cool but tried to make sure no one else did !! Just as I stepped up to the podium a woman walked in and cut right in front of me !! Now the CM had to see this !! I told the woman that she was cutting and she replied she had a ressie for 3:50p to which I replied so do I and I have been waiting for over half an hour !!The CM continued to check her in !!The other CM seeing that I was getting heated hurried up and took me !! Well we still waited another half hour !! By then it was after 5p.
Our waiter was AWFUL slow and very unattentive . I noticed the guy at a rable near by was giving him what for
When our food did come it was cold !!! The only one who was happy was Samantha who ordered a pasta dish and she loved the bowl it came in
This is my second and LAST time at MM !!

I apologise for things being out of order etc but as I said my note book was lost so this is from memory !! I believe we saw the 6pm AI right after our nightmare supper ,we then rode the GMR and headed over to Fantasmic .No pix as they just didn't come out. But that was a huge success . Judy and the kids had never seen it before and the LOVED it !!

We had another day at DHS and that will be coming up hopefully in the correct order !!!!!

Tire but content after Fantasmic we headed back to POP!!!

I'm glad that the person you liked was the one who won American Idol. I'm sorry to hear about the bad experience at Mama Melrose as well as the queue cutting that was taking place but yay on enjoying Fantasmic!

you had the same server at DHS as we had. He was c*r*a*p!!!!!!!! Our whole experience there took 3 hours out of my park day and I was let's say, "heated up" when I stopped a management CM to ask for my bill - got me Guest of Honor fastpass to make up for lost time!

Sorry your MM dinner was so terrible and I absolutely can't stand people who cut in line like that. Really? REALLY?

But it sounds like the rest and your time at HS was so much fun. Glad everyone liked fantasmic. It is a cool show. And - I'm glad I'm not the only one who has the distinction of low scorer on TSM.

Yes Queue cutters are the PITS!!!But she was 20 mins late for her ADR and thought that gave her the right to cut !!Had she asked she would have found out that others had the same or earlier and had been waiting !!
But Fantasmic made up for it!!

Hi Kat !!!I leave Oct 13th to the 18th!!Yet another of my FREE trips , the third this year although not to Disney!! Next year we are also promised Universal and Disney !!!!

Yes we did enjoy the rest of the day !!We took in more attractions on our next day there !!!

The Free Trips are because I volunteer to escort a group of Dev. Disabled on planned vacations . I do not get paid and have to use my paid time off from work, but I get trips such as Disney for FREE!! Only need souvenir money. The Organizationis called People & Places !! I got into it through talking to them when arranging for various trips for the Individuals in the Group Home I am the Site Supervisor of . My Boss wanted in too soooo we are partners in most of my trips !!The Individuals who go are screened and have all been great so far!!They are such a joy to go with, and to get a Disney Vacation for Free is awesome. I pick all the restaurants and the Company's TA makes the arrangements , I plan our days so it is wonderful !!Next year we are going to try Universal too

Hi again Jo I so mis you !!The girls now have their driving permitsThey are looking for part time jobs but they are having ahard time as are all the kids

I will practise next week when I go with my special needs group !!Hopefully at least one of them willscore lower than me

I have eaten at Sci Fi a few times and while the food isn't the greatest , the milkshakes and the cheesecakes are GREAT!! Service has always been fine too !! I had also heard bad things about H&V for dinner and found both the buffet and the service great!!!That night at MM I heard many complaints from people !!!I think they overbook for the Package and cannot keep up with it !!

Rosie - that is so wonderful! What a wonderful way to volunteer your time! I would love to do something like that! You go girl!

I know it is a wonderful opportunitty !!My experience in the field makes it a whole lot easier and having Carol as a partner who is truly great makes it perfect !!!

Okay and now was the BIG Day!!!!!

We slept in a bit and gave the girls their gifts which you can see Steph opening !!For some reason I don't have a close up of the silver cahins with a SWEET SIXTEEN charm

Today we were heading again to MK

Kyle had decided he LOVEDDonald Duck so

As you can see he had the BEAK which drove us NUTS that day

We rode Jungle Cruise ,Corny jokes and all

And then a first for Judy

and per her NEVER again

As we had had a latish breakfast we skipped lunch as we had Ressies at the Castle . I was sent on a mission while Judy took them to Splash Mountain!!I had to purchase 2 Baloons and take them to the Castle to have put at our table for supper !!

And voila as you can see.. mission accomplished
